Ռեփեր 2Pac-ի (Թուփակ Շակուր) ընտանիքը հետաքննիչներ է վարձել՝ նրա սպանության և ամերիկացի ռեփեր Փի Դիդդիի (Շոն Քոմբս) միջև հնարավոր կապ գտնելու համար։
Այդ նպատակով Նյու Յորքից փաստաբան է վարձվել Ալեքս Սպիրո անունով, հայտնել է Court TV-ն։
Ռեփեր Թուփաք Շակուրը գնդակահարվել է Լաս Վեգասում: Նա մահացել է 1996 թվականին մի քանի օր հիվանդանոցում մնալուց հետո։ 27 տարի պաշտոնապես դեռ հայտնի չեն սպանողներն ու հնարավոր պատվիրատուն։
Միայն 2023 թվականին է ոստիկանությունը ձերբակալել Դուեյն (Քեֆե Դի) Դևիսին։
Հայտնի է, որ 2019 թվականին նա իր հուշերում՝ «The Legend of Compton Street» վերնագրով, խոստովանել է, որ եղել է հենց այն մեքենայում, որտեղից գնդակահարվել է Թուփակը։ Ինքը՝ մեղադրյալը, դատարանում հրաժարվել է ընդունել իր մեղքը։
Համացանցում տարածված դավադրության տեսություններից մեկի համաձայն՝ Շակուրի սպանության պատվիրատուն հենց Փի Դիդին է։ Դրա համաձայն՝ նա դա արել է, որպեսզի ճանապարհ հարթի մեկ այլ ռեփերի՝ The Notorious B.I.G-ի համար (Biggie), ով համագործակցել է Շոն Քոմբսի լեյբելի հետ։ Բիգգին ժամանակին եղել է Թուփակի ընկերը։
Իսկ Բիգգին գնդակահարել են Թուփակի սպանությունից ընդամենը վեց ամիս անց։
Փի Դիդդիի գործը
Ռեփեր Դիդդիին ձերբակալել են հյուրանոցի համարում այս տարվա սեպտեմբերի 17-ին։ Նրան մեղադրանք է առաջադրվել ռեկետի, սեռական թրաֆիքինգի և կավատության համար։ Քննիչների խոսքով՝ Քոմբսը «բռնություն է գործադրել, սպառնացել և ստիպել է կանանց և իր անմիջական շրջապատին կատարել իր սեռական ցանկությունները»: Այնուհետև նա սկսել է թաքցնել ապացույցները՝ իր համբավը պահպանելու համար։
Դատախազները պնդում են, որ երաժիշտը իր բիզնես կայսրության միջոցով տեղափոխել է տղամարդկանց և կանանց սեքսուալ աշխատողների պետական գծերով, ներառյալ «Bad Boy Entertainment» ձայնագրման լեյբլով: Նրանց հանձնել է մասնակցելու «Freak Offs» կոչվող սեքսուալ ներկայացումներին։ Դատարանը մերժել է երաժշտին գրավի դիմաց ազատ արձակել։
