Ադրբեջանի նախագահ Իլհամ Ալիևը ապատեղեկատվության, սպառնալիքների և շանտաժի նոր խմբաքանակ է սանձազերծել։ Ինչպես միշտ, Ալիևի հարձակումների հիմնական թիրախը Հայաստանն էր, տուժել են նաև ԱՄՆ-ն ու Ֆրանսիան։

«Այսօր սգո օր է հակաադրբեջանական ուժերի համար։ Այսինքն՝ ինչպե՞ս կարող է լինել, որ առանց մեր թույլտվության, առանց որևէ մեկին հարցնելու, առանց որևէ մեկից վախենալու, որևէ մեկին հաշվի չառնելով՝ Ադրբեջանը վերականգնեց իր իրավունքները։ Սեփական ուժերի հաշվին, իրենց որդիների նվիրումի հաշվին։ Նրանք չեն կարող մեզ ներել դրա համար»,- ասել է Ալիևը հոկտեմբերի 4-ին Ջաբրայիլի (Ջրական պատմական հայկական թաղամասի ադրբեջանական անվանումը) բնակիչների հետ հանդիպման ժամանակ։

«Այսօր Ամերիկան ​​պատժամիջոցներ է սահմանում Ադրբեջանի դեմ։ Իսկ դրանից հետո ասում են՝ ամրապնդենք մեր բարեկամությունը։ Ինչպիսի՞ բարեկամության մասին կարող ենք խոսել»,- ասել է Ադրբեջանի ղեկավարը ՝ հավելելով, որ «Ադրբեջանը պետք է ապավինի միայն իր ուժերին և չխաբվի որևէ խոստումներով, շողոքորթ խոսքերով կամ կեղծ հայտարարություններով»։

«Մինսկի խումբը զբաղվում էր հայկական օկուպացիան որոշ չափով արդարացնելու և Ադրբեջանին նվաստացուցիչ խաղաղության մղելու գործով»,- ասել է Ալիևը, - «Մեզ ասում էին, որ ձեր խոսքերը չափազանց կոշտ են։ Այս կոշտ հռետորաբանությունը ոչ թե ավելի է մոտեցնում խաղաղությանը, այլ ավելի հեռացնում: Այս հակամարտությունը ռազմական լուծում չունի։ Այսինքն՝ Ֆրանսիան և նման արևմտյան պետություններն ամեն ինչ արեցին այս օկուպացիան հավերժացնելու համար»։

Անմիջապես Հայաստանի վերաբերյալ Ադրբեջանի նախագահն ասել է. «Հայաստանը ներքաշվել է վտանգավոր խաղերի մեջ։ Թող նրանք չմոռանան Ղարաբաղյան Երկրորդ պատերազմի պատմությունը։ Թող չմոռանան, թե ինչպես էին մեզ ծնկաչոք աղաչում ողորմություն, թե ինչպես էին օրական տասը անգամ ամենաբարձր մակարդակով դիմում Ռուսաստանին՝ խնդրելով դադարեցնել պատերազմը։ Թող չմոռանան հակաահաբեկչական գործողության մասին։ Թող չմոռանան, որ նույնիսկ այդ աշխարհագրական պայմաններում մենք կարողացանք հասնել մեր ուզածին։ Մենք արմատախիլ արեցինք անջատողականությունը ընդամենը մի քանի ժամում՝ առանց որևէ մեկին հետ նայելու, անկախ ամեն ինչից»։

Փաստացիորեն, Ալիևը մի ելույթում խոստովանել է, որ ագրեսիվ պատերազմ է վարել Հայաստանի և Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի դեմ, հայտարարել է դա կրկնելու մտադրության մասին՝ կոչ անելով «չմոռանալ», ինչպես նաև հաստատել է, որ ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի շրջանակներում ամեն ինչ գնում էր դեպի Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի անկախ կարգավիճակ։
