Թուրքիայի նախագահ Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանը հայտարարել է, որ Իսրայելի ծրագրերը տարածաշրջանում չեն սահմանափակվում միայն Պաղեստինով և Լիբանանով և երկիրը մարտահրավեր է նետում Թուրքիային։

«Իսրայելը նենգ ծրագիր է իրականացնում, որը չի սահմանափակվում Գազայի հատվածով, Հորդանան գետի արևմտյան ափով և Լիբանանով: Պետք չէ մարգարե լինել դրա վերջնական նպատակը տեսնելու համար: Ով գիտի պատմություն, կրոնների պատմություն, քաղաքականություն և դիվանագիտություն, հեշտությամբ կտեսնի կապը` Երուսաղեմի, Ալ-Աքսայի և Ավետյաց երկրի պատրանքի հետ: Մենք լավ գիտենք, թե որն է Ավետյաց երկիրը։ Նրանք (Իսրայելի վարչակազմը) բառացիորեն մտնում են Թուրքիային մարտահրավեր նետելու մրցավազքի մեջ։ Մենք սա լավ գիտենք։ Իսրայելի ներկայիս վարչակազմը բացահայտում է իր իրական մտադրությունները իր յուրաքանչյուր հայտարարությամբ և ցուցադրած յուրաքանչյուր խաղաքարտի միջոցով», - ասել է Էրդողանը Ադանայում տեղի հեռուստաալիքներով հեռարձակվող ելույթի ժամանակ:

Նա նաև քննադատել է Իսրայելին՝ ՄԱԿ-ի գլխավոր քարտուղար Անտոնիո Գուտերեշին պերսոնա նոն գրատա հայտարարելու որոշման համար։ «Ամեն անգամ, երբ տարածաշրջանը մոտենում է հրադադարին, խաղաղությանը և հանգստությանը, Իսրայելի կառավարությունը սադրանքներ է իրականացնում, որոնք խարխլում են այդ գործընթացները: Նրանք օգտագործում են բոլոր միջոցները, որպեսզի կրակը տարածեն ողջ տարածաշրջանով մեկ և լցնեն այն արյունով ու արցունքներով»,- նշել է Էրդողանը։
