Հազվադեպ հիվանդությունից մահացող միայնակ մայրը պլանավորում է իր թաղումը

Ամերիկյան Յութա նահանգում բնակվող միայնակ մայրը, որին ընդամենը երեք ամիս է մնացել ապրելու, փող է հավաքում սեփական թաղման համար անբուժելի հիվանդության դեմ երկու տարի պայքարելուց հետո, գրել է People-ը։
30-ամյա Էրիկա Դիարթե-Քարը սկզբում GoFundMe-ի առջեւ նպատակ էր դրել հավաքել 5 000 դոլար ապագա ծառայության ծախսերը ծածկելու համար, բայց այդ ժամանակվանից հետո ավելի քան 30 000 դոնորներ օգնել են նրան հավաքել 900 000 դոլար կիրակի օրվա՝ սեպտեմբերի 29-ի դրությամբ, իսկ մնացած նվիրատվություններն ուղարկվել են նրա 5-ամյա դստեր եւ 7-ամյա որդու օգնության հիմնադրամին։
Սկզբում կնոջ մոտ ախտորոշվել էր քաղցկեղ 2022թ. մայիսի 7-ին, երբ նա հայտնվել էր շտապօգնության բաժանմունքում, իր կարծիքով՝ «սովորական վնասվածքի պատճառով», ըստ տեղի ABC4 պարբերականի։
«Հետո բժիշկն ինձ ասաց, որ ես բազմաթիվ ուռուցքներ ունեմ, որոնք մետաստազներ են տվել մարմնիս այլ մասերում, ներառյալ կմախքը, եւ հենց այդպես մենք կարողացանք գտնել այն ուռուցքը, որը ցավեր էր առաջացրել ուսիս հատվածում։ Այդ պահին վնասն արդեն պատճառվել էր։ Այդ պահին իմ կյանքը եւ երեխաներիս կյանքը փոխվեց առհավետ, ինչպես եւ բոլոր նրանց, ովքեր շրջապատում էին մեզ»,- ասել է նա։
Երկու տարի հետո՝ 2024թ. հունվարի 17-ին, Էրիկայի մոտ ախտորոշվեց Քուշինգի համախտանիշ, որը Դիաբետի, մարսողության եւ երիկամների հիվանդությունների ազգային ինստիտուտը նկարագրել է որպես խանգարում, որն առաջանում է, երբ մարդու օրգանիզմն արտադրում է չափից շատ կորտիզոլ հորմոն երկար ժամանակ։ Ինստիտուտի տվյալներով՝ միայն 40-70 մարդ է մեկ միլիոնի միջից տառապում Քուշինգի հիվանդությամբ։
Ախտորոշումը «բազմաթիվ այլ հիմնական խնդիրներ» առաջացրեց, ներառյալ քաշի արագ ավելացումն ու այտուցները, արյան բարձր ճնշումը, 2-րդ տեսակի դիաբետը, մկանների եւ ոսկորների քայքայումը եւ այլն։
Էրիկան սեպտեմբերի 18-ին ուռուցքաբանին այցելությունից հետո գրել է, որ այդ ժամանակվանից ի վեր որոշել է դադարեցնել բուժումը, քանի որ այն այլեւս չի օգնում։ Նրա խոսքով՝ նրան մնացել է երեք ամսվա կյանք։
«3 ամիսներ, որոնք ես ցանկանում եմ անցկացնել երեխաներիս եւ սիրելիներիս հետ։ 3 ամիսներ, որպեսզի առավելագույն չափով օգտագործեմ ինձ մնացած ժամանակը։ Հաջորդ երկու ամիսներին ես պետք է համոզվեմ, որ երեխաներիս հետ ամեն բան կարգին կլինի ինձանից հետո։ Հիմա ես բախվել եմ ամենադժվար խնդրին՝ սեփական թաղման պլանավորմանը»,- գրել է նա։
