В Греции в результате лесного пожара, начавшегося в воскресенье 29 сентября, погибли два человека, сообщило агентство Reuters со ссылкой на заявление местных властей.
Как сообщили местные власти, два человека погибли в результате лесного пожара, который, раздутый сильным ветром, неконтролируемо бушевал в понедельник вблизи труднодоступной горной местности в центральном греческом регионе Коринф.
Пресс-секретарь греческой полиции Константина Димоглиду заявила, что найденные тела сильно обгорели и что для их идентификации необходимы лабораторные исследования.
Пожар привел к эвакуации людей из нескольких сел, передало агентство.
Сотни пожарных при поддержке девяти самолетов боролись с огнем, который вспыхнул в воскресенье, 29 сентября, вблизи приморского города Ксилокастро на полуострове Пелопоннес.
