«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է.

Հայոց անկախ պետականության գոյությունը ձախավեր «կառավարմամբ» սպառնալիքների տակ դրած գործիչը «երեսատեղ» է գտել ու Անկախության օրվա կապակցությամբ շնորհավորական խոսք ասել: Անիմաստ է ու ժամանակի անտեղի վատնում՝ անդրադառնալ անկախության վերաբերյալ նրա ներկայացրած պատկերացումներին ու մտավարժանքներին: Անկախության օրվա ուղերձի առիթը Նիկոլ Փաշինյանն օգտագործեց նաև այն բանի համար, որ ևս մեկ անգամ իբր ներողություն խնդրի, իսկ ավելի ստույգ՝ հերթական անգամ խոսի «սխալվելու իրավունքի» մասին: Իսկ ինչի՞ համար է նա ներողություն խնդրում, միգուցե Արցախի հայաթափմա՞ն, հայրենի երկրի մի ահռելի մասը թշնամուն հանձնելո՞ւ: Իհարկե, ոչ: Իր մերաձավորագույն զինակիցն է հայտարարել, չէ՞, թե՝ «լավ ենք արել...»:

Ահավասիկ, փաշինյանական «ներողության» բնօրինակը. «Ներողություն եմ խնդրում բոլոր այն ակնհայտ և հնարավոր սխալների համար, որ գործել ենք և, մեր մեջ ասած, դեռ կշարունակենք գործել, որովհետև մարդը սխալական է»: Այո, իհարկե, մարդը ոչ միայն սխալական է, այլև մահկանացու: Ու դա անբեկանելի փաստ է: Իր սիրած բառով՝ աներկբա: Բայց գանք «սխալական»-ին. մարդը, տվյալ դեպքում՝ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը բացեիբաց հայտարարում է, որ իր գլխավորած իշխանությունը շարունակելու է երկրահանձնումները, ավերումները, աղետալի հետևանքներով քայլերը, կորստաբեր որոշումները: Իբր... «սխալվելու իրավունք» կա, էլի:

Մեր մեջ ասած՝ Փաշինյանն ու իր գլխավորած «իշխանաթիմը» շատ վաղուց, դե, արդեն մի 6 տարի կլինի, ինչ սպառել են իրենց «սխալվելու իրավունքի» պաշարը: Եվ հետո, չէ՛, այս դեպքում չի կարելի սխալների մասին խոսել: Այս իշխանության գործածները սխալներ չեն, մեղքեր են, այդ թվում՝ ծանրագույն հետևանքներով ու աններելի մեղքեր: Որ հարթության մեջ ուզում եք՝ դիտարկեք: Բարոյական առումով՝ մեղք է, քաղաքական առումով՝ մեղք է: Իսկ քրեաիրավական առումովն էլ թող համապատասխան մարմինները որոշենք: Երևի մի օր... այդ օրն էլ կգա:
