«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է.
Ամերիկյան լրատվամիջոցները և փորձագիտական շրջանակները վերջին շրջանում ավելի ու ավելի հաճախ են անդրադառնում Հարավային Կովկասում իրավիճակին, սակայն ուշագրավ է, որ այդ հրապարակումների ենթատեքստը առավելապես նույնական է: Ի մասնավորի, օրերս ամերիկյան պարբերականներից մեկը հրապարակել է մի հոդված, որը վերնագրված է «Գերտերությունների մրցակցությունը մտնում է Կովկաս»: Այս հրապարակումն առաջին հերթին ուշագրավ է նրանով, որ հեղինակները ամերիկյան հայտնի փորձագետներ են՝ գլխավորությամբ մի մարդու, որը Դոնալդ Թրամփի նախագահության օրոք բարձրաստիճան պաշտոններ է զբաղեցրել:
Խոսքը Ուիլ յամ Վուլֆի մասին է, որը եղել է Պետդեպի գլխավոր իրավաբանը և պաշտպանության նախարարի օգնականի տեղակալը: Վերլուծությունը վերաբերում է Հայաստանի՝ ՀԱՊԿ-ից հեռանալու և դեպի Արևմուտք կողմնորոշվելու թեմաներին: Ընդ որում, ՀԱՊԿ-ից հեռացումը դիտարկվում է որպես մոտ ապագայում կայանալիք իրադարձություն, նույնիսկ՝ գրեթե իրողություն: Նշվում է, որ ԱՄՆ-ն պետք է էապես աջակցի Հայաստանին այս հարցում: Սակայն ուշագրավ է, որ գրեթե խոսք չկա այն մասին, թե ՀԱՊԿ-ից հեռանալն ու Արևմուտքի գիրկն ընկնելը ինչ է տալու Հայաստանին: Փոխարենն ամենայն մանրամասնությամբ նկարագրված է, թե դա ինչ կտա ԱՄՆ-ին, այսինքն՝ թե այդ ամենն ԱՄՆ-ի ինչին է պետք: Պարզվում է՝ պետք է, այն էլ՝ ինչպես է պետք: Ըստ հեղինակների, այդպիսով, Հայաստանի դուրս գալը և դեպի Արևմուտք շրջադարձը «անգնահատելի հնարավորություն» կտա ԱՄՆ-ին՝ տարածաշրջանում իր դիրքերն ամրապնդելու համար, «ինչը օգուտ կտա Ամերիկայի երկարաժամկետ հետաքրքրություններին»: Եվ ուշադրություն... ամենակարևոր կետերից մեկը. Հայաստանին արևմտյան շարքեր բերելը թույլ կտա ԱՄՆ-ին պահպանել Ռուսաստանի հարավային սահմաններում իրական վտանգը և չեզոքացնել ռուսական ռազմական ներկայությունը Հայաստանում:
Վերջապես, ըստ հեղինակների, այդ ամենը հնարավորություն կտա բարդացնել «Մեկ գոտի, մեկ ճանապարհ» նախաձեռնության շրջանակներում տարածաշրջանի միավորման Չինաստանի պլանները, ինչպես նաև ԱՄՆ-ին թույլ կտան նվազեցնել իրենց կախվածությունը Թուրքիայից: Մի խոսքով, ամերիկացիները փաստացի սկսել են ավելի բաց «խաղալ» և ակնհայտ հայտարարել իրենց իրական հետաքրքրությունների մասին, որտեղ որևէ տեղ չկա Հայաստանի շահերի ու անվտանգության համար: Բացառապես ամերիկյան շահեր, ամերիկյան հետաքրքրություններ, որոնց հիմնական իմաստը Հայաստանը աշխարհաքաղաքական խոշոր խաղացողների բախման կիզակետ դարձնելն է՝ անգամ Հայաստանի ինքնիշխանության և տարածքային կորուստների գնով:
