Լիբանանի առողջապահության նախարարությունը հայտնել է, որ այսօր Իսրայելի պաշտպանության բանակի հասցրած ավիահարվածների հետևանքով զոհերի թիվը կտրուկ աճել է՝ 100-ից հասնելով 182-ի։ Նախարարությունը հավելել է, որ վիրավորների թիվը 400-ից հասել է 727-ի: Առայժմ հայտնի չէ` քանի կորուստ կա խաղաղ բնակչության և քանի կորուստ «Հեզբոլլահ» շարժման անդամների շրջանում, գրում է The Times of Israel-ը:
Իսրայելի պաշտպանության բանակը երկուշաբթի առավոտյան հայտարարել է, որ լայնածավալ ավիահարվածներ է հասցրել Լիբանանում «Հեզբոլլահ» շարժման թիրախներին: Բանակի պնդմամբ՝ Լիբանանի սահմանամերձ գյուղերի բնակիչները նախազգուշացվել են, նրանց կոչ է արվել արագ հեռանալ այն տներից, որոնք «Հեզբոլլահ»-ն օգտագործում է զենք պահելու համար:
Այժմ Իսրայելի պաշտպանության բանակը Լիբանանի Բեքաա հովտի բնակիչներին 2 ժամ է տվել տարածքը լքելու համար: Նախազգուշացումը կրկին վերաբերում է այն խաղաղ բնակիչներին, որոնք, Իսրայելի բանակի պնդմամբ, գտնվում են տներում, որոնցում «Հեզբոլլահ»-ը պահում է իր զենքերը:
Զինվորականները հայտնել են, որ հայտնաբերել են «Հեզբոլլահ»-ի օպերատորներին, որոնք պատրաստվում էին հրթիռային հարձակումներ իրականացնել Իսրայելի վրա:
Իսրայելի ռազմաօդային ուժերը, ժամը 12:30-ի դրությամբ, տասնյակ կործանիչների միջոցով ավելի քան 300 հարված են հասցրել Լիբանանում «Հեզբոլլահ»-ի թիրախներին:
