Հայ ազգը դեռ չի կարողանում գնահատել այն ողբերգությունը, որ եղել է։ Այդ մասին հարցազրույցում ասել է «Համահայկական ճակատ» շարժման առաջնորդ, պաշտպանության նախարար, գեներալ-մայոր Արշակ Կարապետյանը։ Նրա խոսքով, կանցնեն տարիներ, նոր կհասկանանք, թե ինչ ենք կորցրել։ «Այս պարագայում զարմացած եմ, որ երկրի ղեկավարը չի հասկանում։ Ինչ էլ անեն իր ենթակաները, ինչ հանցագործության գնան, ինքն է պատասխանատու կատարվածի համար։ Իր ենթակաների համար չի կարող պատասխանատու չլինել»,- նշել է Կարապետյանը։

Նա նկատել է, որ կոպիտ խախտվել է մեր երկրի Սահմանադրությունը։ «Օրենքը կարող է դուր չգալ, կարող ես քննադատել, բայց պարտավոր ես շարժվել այդ օրենքով։ Իշխանությունը նշանակում է, որ պետք է գործես օրենքի սահմաններում,- ասել է Կարապետյանը, հիշեցրել, որ,-Սահմանադրությամբ ամրագրված էր, որ Հայաստանն Արցախի անվտանգության երաշխավորն է։ Այսօր էլ Հայաստանն Արցախի անվտանգության երաշխավորն է։ Ճիշտ է, այս պահին այնտեղ հայ չի ապրում, դուրս են եկել, բայց օրենքը դա է ասում։ Նա իրավունք չուներ հրաժարվել Արցախից։ Եվ դրա համար պետք է պատասխան տա»։

Ըստ Կարապետյանի, ՀՀ քաղաքացիները դեռ չեն հասկացել, որ անկախ են։ Պաշտպանության նախկին նախարարը նշել է, որ Արցախում ահռելի քանակությամբ զենք կար։ Ցածր օղակների որոշ ստորաբաժանումներ դիմադրեցին, բայց ընդհանուր բանակի կողմից դիմադրություն չեղավ։ Արցախի բանակը Հայաստանի բանակի մաս էր, Արցախի պաշտպանության բանակի հրամանատարը ուղիղ ՀՀ ԶՈՒ ԳՇ պետի ենթական էր, և հրամանը Հայաստանից է գնացել չդիմադրել։

Ըստ Կարապետյանի, Արցախի նախագահն իրավունք չուներ հրամաններ տալ ՊԲ հրամանատարին, բոլոր ուժայիններն ուղիղ ենթակայության տակ էին Երևանից։ «Այդ հեքիաթները, թե Արցախի իշխանությունները չեն կազմակերպել, հրաման չեն տվել, սուտ է։ Դավաճաններին պետք է փնտրել Հայաստանում, ուրիշ ոչ մի տեղ։ Համարյա 17 հազարանոց բանակը չի դիմադրում, ասում են՝ 2 հազար ռուսը ինչո՞ւ չեն կրակել։ Որպես զինվորական՝ վիրավորված եմ»,- նկատել է գեներալ-մայորը։

Խոսելով արցախահայության վերադարձի հնարավորության մասին՝ նախկին նախարարը նշել է, թե բավական մեծ են մեր շահերը, որ Արցախը լինի հայկական տարածք։ «Առաջին պայմանը, մեր փողոցային իշխանությունը, որը նույնիսկ չի հասկանում, թե հայրենասիրությունն ինչ է, նման մթնոլորտում դաստիարակված չեն, պետք է հեռանա»,- նշել է Կարապետյանը։ Հավելել է, թե ամենակարևորը, որ հայ ժողովուրդը դա ցանկանա։ «Եթե չցանկացավ, ով ուզում է լինի, մենակ ոչինչ չի կարող անել»,- ասել է Արշակ Կարապետյանը՝ վստահություն հայտնելով, որ հայ ժողովուրդը պայքարելու է իր իրավունքների համար։

Պաշտպանության նախկին նախարարը անդրադարձել է նաև Ադրբեջանում պահվող ռազմագերիների հարցին, նշել, թե գերիների մասին բազմիցս է խոսել։ «Մեր երկրի ղեկավարը չի հասկանում, որ պատասխանատու է ՀՀ ցանկացած քաղաքացու համար, հատկապես, երբ վերջինս գերության մեջ է։ Ես միայն իր վրա չեմ զարմանում։ Շատերն այսօրվա գերիների հետ սեղան են նստել, հաց են կիսել, կենաց են խմել։ Դա վերաբերում է թե գործող, թե՛ նախկին ղեկավարներին, և այսօր բերանները ջուր առած, նստած են։ Արցախից եկել, մարդ են դարձել, մոռացել են, որ արցախցի են։ Մի բերան խոսեք, խնդրում եմ»,- ասել է Արշակ Կարապետյանը։
