Ազգային տոնացույցում սեպտեմբերը Անկախության խորհուրդն ուներ հայ ժողովրդի համար, մայիսը՝ Հաղթանակների, որոնք իրավամբ կերտել էինք Հայաստանում,

Արցախում, Սփյուռքում ապրող հայ ժողովրդի միասնության՝ մտավորականների ու կամավորականների գաղափարական պայքարի, հրամանատարների ու զինվորների անձնազոհ մաքառումի գնով, ռազմաքաղաքական ղեկավարների նվիրումի և ինքնուրույն, իրավիճակին համարժեք որոշումներ կայացնելու շնորհիվ։

Հավերժ փառք ու պատիվ բոլոր այն քաջերին, ովքեր իրենց կյանքը զոհաբերեցին հանուն Հայրենիքի, ովքեր կանգնած են հայոց նորագույն պատմության հաղթանակների ակունքներում և Արցախյան առաջին հերոսամարտից մինչև այսօր էլ սրբազան պայքար են մղում` հանուն Հայի, Հայաստանի ու Արցախի։

Ու թեև իր Անկախությունն արյան գնով կերտած Արցախն այսօր ամբողջովին հայաթափված, օկուպացված է, իսկ Հայաստանի Հանրապետության Անկախության օրը նշում ենք՝ հանդուրժելով ադրբեջանական զինված ուժերի հանցավոր ներխուժումը, ներկայությունը մեր պետության ինքնիշխան տարածքում, հայ ժողովուրդը գիտակցում է, որ պատերազմը չի ավարտվել, և կորուստները շարունակվում են ոչ միայն ադրբեջանական ագրեսիայի հետևանքով, այլև Հայաստանի ներկայիս իշխանությունների ապիկար գործունեության պատճառով։

Սակայն որքան էլ ծանր լինի իրականության բեռը, պարտավոր ենք մի կողմ դնել ցավն ու պատվով պաշտպանել մեր Անկախությունը, անվտանգությունը, ապրելու և արցախցիների հետվերադարձի իրավունքը։
