Բևեռը դադարեցնում է հետագա համագործակցությունը Սրբազան շարժման հետ: Այս մասին հայտարարություն է տարածել Ազգային - Ժողովրդավարական Բևեռի խորհուրդը:
«Ի տես Հայաստանի անկախության և ինքնիշխանության կորստի գոյութենական սպառնալիքների, որոնք սպառնում են մեր երկիրը վերածելու թուրք-ադրբեջանական տարանցիկ գոտու, և ի տես Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի վարած հակասահմանադրական, ապազգային, պարտվողական և հակաժողովրդավարական քաղաքականության, որը հանգեցրել է հասարակության քաղաքական պառակտման և կաթվածահարության, Ազգային-ժողովրդավարական Բևեռը, գիտակցելով մեր ժողովրդի համախմբման հնարավորությունը, որոշել էր աջակցել հայրենիքում սկսված Սրբազան շարժմանը հետևյալ նպատակներով․
1) Հայաստանում սահմանադրականության հաստատման, մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանության և Հայաստանի ներքաղաքական կյանքի առողջացման նպատակով տարբեր քաղաքական հոսանքների միջև ստեղծել երկխոսության մթնոլորտ
2) միավորվել վերկուսակցական ձևաչափով, համախմբել ժողովրդին, հեռացնել աղետաբեր չարիք դարձած Նիկոլ Փաշինյանին և կազմավորել հակաճգնաժամային անցումային կառավարություն
3) կազմել և իրագործել հակաճգնաժամային անցումային ծրագիր` կանխելով մեր երկրի Արևմտյան Ադրբեջան դառնալու վտանգը՝ անհրաժեշտ միջոցներ ձեռնարկելով երկրի պաշտպանությունը կազմակերպելու ուղղությամբ
4) միջազգային իրավունքի հիման վրա ապահովել Արցախի հիմնախնդրի արդարացի լուծումը և միջազգային ներկայությամբ Արցախի հայության անվտանգ վերադարձը:
Ս․ թ․ մայիսի 9-ի Հանրապետության լեփ-լեցուն հրապարակը վկայեց, որ Բևեռը ճիշտ էր ժողովրդի համախմբման հնարավորության իր գնահատականներում և գործողությունների մեջ՝ աջակցելով Բագրատ Սրբազանի գլխավորած շարժմանը։
Հավատարիմ մնալով վերոհիշյալ սկզբունքներին՝ Բևեռը հետևողականորեն և շարունակաբար խոսքով ու գործերով աջակցել է այս համախմբմանը և ամառային ամիսների ընթացքում հանդես է եկել շարժման կազմակերպական ուժեղացման, երկրի ներսում նրա ընկալելիությունը բարելավելու, իսկ երկրից դուրս միջազգային համայնքի կողմից նպաստավոր դիրքորոշումը ապահովելուն ուղղված առաջարկություններով։
Ցավով պետք է արձանագրենք, որ չնայած մեր բոլոր ջանքերին՝ մեր առաջարկներն անտեսվեցին, բազմիցս չօգտագործվեցին ակնհայտ հնարավորությունները, իսկ վերջերս ի հայտ եկան շարժման որոշակի անընդունելի դրսևորումներ։
Հաշվի առնելով նկարագրվածը՝ այսուհետև նպատակահարմար չենք համարում Բևեռի հետագա համագործակցությունը Սրբազան շարժմանը։
