Մահացել է Արտաշես Գեղամյանը

74 տարեկան հասակում մահացել է քաղաքական գործիչ, ԱԺ նախկին պատգամավոր Արտաշես Գեղամյանը։
Ծնվել է 1949թ. դեկտեմբերի 2-ին Երեւանում:
1971թ. ավարտել է Երևանի Կ. Մարքսի անվան պոլիտեխնիկական ինստիտուտի էլեկտրատեխնիկական ֆակուլտետը: Ճարտարագետ-էլեկտրիկ:
1988-1990թթ. եղել է ԽՄԿԿ կենտկոմին առընթեր Հասարակական գիտությունների ակադեմիայի ունկնդիր (Մոսկվա):
1971-1978թթ. աշխատել է Երեւանի Կ. Մարքսի անվան պոլիտեխնիկական ինստիտուտի էլեկտրատեխնիկական ֆակուլտետի կոմերիտական կազմակերպության ազատված քարտուղար, Կարելիայի Ինքնավար Հանրապետությունում Հայաստանի հանրապետական ուսանողական շինջոկատի հրամանատար, ՀԼԿԵՄ կենտկոմում հրահանգիչ, Կ. Մարքսի անվան պոլիտեխնիկական ինստիտուտի կոմերիտական կազմակերպության առաջին քարտուղար, ՀԼԿԵՄ կենտկոմի ուսանող երիտասարդության բաժնի վարիչ:
1979-1987թթ. Հայաստանի կոմկուսի կենտկոմի ապարատում աշխատել է հրահանգիչ, սեկտորի վարիչ, տեսուչ, կենտկոմի առաջին քարտուղարի օգնական, կուսակցական-կազմակերպական աշխատանքների բաժնի վարիչի առաջին տեղակալ:
1987-1989թթ.` ՀԿԿ Երեւանի Մաշտոցի կուսշրջկոմի առաջին քարտուղար:
1989-1990թթ. եղել է Երեւանի քաղաքապետ:
1991-1995թթ.` «Անդրնավթգազշին» ԲԸ դիտորդական խմբի անդամ, հիմնադրել է «Պրոմեթևս» հայկական ունիվերսալ սակարանը, «21-րդ դար» ՍՊԸ-ն, եղել է այդ հիմնարկների գլխավոր տնօրեն:
1997թ. հիմնադրել և գլխավորում է «Ազգային Միաբանություն կուսակցությունը»:
1998, 2003 և 2008թթ. եղել է ՀՀ նախագահի թեկնածու:
1995-1999թթ.՝ ԱԺ պատգամավոր (թիվ 7 ընտրատարածք): ԱԺ ֆինանսավարկային, բյուջետային և տնտեսական հարցերի մշտական հանձնաժողովի անդամ:
1999-2003թթ.` ԱԺ պատգամավոր (համամասնական ընտրակարգ, «Իրավունք և միաբանություն» դաշինք): ԱԺ արտաքին հարաբերությունների մշտական հանձնաժողովի անդամ: «Իրավունք և միաբանություն» խմբակցության ղեկավար:
2003-2007թթ.` ԱԺ պատգամավոր /համամասնական ընտրակարգ, ԱՄ կուսակցություն/: ԱՄ խմբակցության ղեկավար: Եվրախորհրդի խորհրդարանական վեհաժողովի, ԵԱՀԿ խորհրդարանական վեհաժողովում ՀՀ պատվիրակության, «Պառլամենտականները գլոբալ գործողության համար» միջազգային խորհրդարանական կազմակերպության անդամ:
2007-2012թթ. ղեկավարել է «Ազգային Միաբանություն կուսակցությունը»:
2012թ. մայիսի 6-ին ԱԺ պատգամավոր է ընտրվել համամասնական ընտրակարգով՝ Հայաստանի Հանրապետական կուսակցությունից:
2017 թվականի ապրիլի 2-ին պատգամավոր է ընտրվել ՀՀԿ ցուցակով։
2019 թվականից այլևս պատգամավոր չէր։
