Դժվարանում եմ ասել, թե ինչ նկատի ուներ Փաշինյանը։ Օրինակ, ես հնարավորություն չունեմ նրան հարցնելու այս մասին։ Նա ինձ 2022 թվականին արգելել է մուտք գործել Հայաստան՝ Ադրբեջանի օրինակով, որն ինձ արգելել էր մուտքը 2011 թվականին։ Այս մասին հայտարարել է Ռուսաստանի Պետդումային պատգամավոր, Պետդումայի ԱՊՀ հարցերով հանձնաժողովի նախագահի տեղակալ Կոնստանտին Զատուլինը՝ մեկնաբանելով ՀՀ վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի՝ ՀԱՊԿ-ի կողմից Հայաստանին ուղղված սպառնալիքների վերաբերյալ հայտարարությունը։
«Փաշինյանն իր իրական տրամադրվածությունը, հայացքները հանկարծ հայտնաբերեց վարչապետ դառնալուց հետո, որ, ա՛յ, չի կարելի վստահել ՀԱՊԿ-ին։ Բայց դեռ վարչապետ դառնալուց առաջ նա, լինելով լրագրող, ամենուր պնդում էր, որ Ռուսաստանի հետ պետք է դադարեցնել հարաբերությունները, պետք է դուրս գալ ՀԱՊԿ-ից, ապամոնտաժել Գյումրիի բազան...
Պահանջում էր, որ պետք է կողմնորոշվել դեպի Եվրոպա։ Դա նրա քաղաքական դիրքորոշումն է, և նա այդ առումով հետևողական է։ Անհետևողական են, գուցե, մեր որոշ փորձագետներ, որոնք 2018-2020 թվականներին Ռուսաստանի հետ նրա այս սիրախաղի ժամանակ Փաշինյանի կերպարի ինչ-որ փոփոխություն էին տեսնում:
