Մայր Տաճարի վերաօծման և Մյուռոնօրհնության արարողությունները կայանալու են սույն թվականի սեպտեմբերի 28-29-ին։ Հայաստանի իշխանությունները դեռ չեն որոշել՝ մասնակցե՞լ, թե՞ ոչ։ ԱԺ նախագահ Ալեն Սիմոնյանն է միայն հայտարարել, թե երկրում չի լինելու, չի կարող մասնակցել։ Կառավարությունն էլ դեռ քննարկում է Փաշինյանի մասնակցության հարցը։

Գործող իշխանությունների և եկեղեցու հարաբերությունները կտրուկ սրվել են 44-օրյա պատերազմից հետո, իսկ Բագրատ Սրբազանի՝ ընդդիմադիր շարժումը գլխավորելուց հետո Փաշինյանն ու նրա մանկլավիկները մի քանի անգամ կաթողիկոսին են մեղադրել ընդդիմադիր շարժում սկսելու մեջ։ Անկախ ամեն ինչից, Հայ առաքելական եկեղեցին, որ դարերով պետականակերտման, պետական խորհրդանիշների նկատմամբ ձևավորված ավանդույթ ունի, հրավեր է ուղարկել վարչապետին ու այլ պաշտոնյաների։

Հոգևորականներն իրենք էլ են խոստովանում, հրավերք ուղարկելու որոշումը ծանր է տրվել։ Եկեղեցում կարծում են, որ հրավերի ու հրաժարականի հորդորը պետք է հստակ տարանջատել համազգային միջոցառումների դեպքում, ասել է Մայր Աթոռի դիվանապետ Արշակ արքեպիսկոպոս Խաչատրյանը։ Նրա խոսքով, հրավիրած լինելը որևէ ձևով դիրքորոշումների փոփոխություն չի նշանակում։ «Մենք, համենայն դեպս դուք կհիշեք, Հայաստանի Հանրապետության վերջին անկախության պատմության շրջանում և ողջ եկեղեցու պատմության ընթացքում եկեղեցին աջակից է եղել պետությանը, իշխանություններին։ Այո, երբեմն մենք տարբերակում ենք իշխանությունները պետությունից, բայց այդ սահմանագիծը շատ նուրբ է, չափազանց դժվար է իշխանությունների նկատմամբ քննադատություն ուղղել առանց մտահոգություն ունենալու, որ պետությանը չես վնասի, բայց երբ իրավիճակը հասնում է այնպիսի հանգրվանի, երբ այլընտրանք չկա, նշանակում է՝ պետք է գնալ այդ ճանապարհով», - նշել է Արշակ Սրբազանը։

Եկեղեցու այս քայլին իշխանության կողմից արձագանք չկա, ըստ ամենայնի, Փաշինյանը կվախենա մասնակցել վերաօծման արարողություններին՝ հերթական անգամ ապացուցելով այն պարզ ճշմարտությունը, որ օրվա վարչախումբը որևէ կապ չունի հայի ու հայկական ինքնության հետ։
