Եվրամիությանն անդամակցելու հարցով ստորագրահավաքը երեկ մեկնարկել է հանրապետության ողջ տարածքում։ Ինչպես և սպասելի էր, ստորագրահավաքի կազմակերպիչներն առաջին իսկ օրը գովազդային լայն արշավ էին նախաձեռնել, նկարվում ու հարցազրույցներ էին տալիս՝ համոզելով ՀՀ քաղաքացիներին գնալ թաղապետարաններ, քաղաքապետարաններ, մարզպետարաններ և ստորագրել իրենց անհեթեթ առաջարկի տակ։ Նախագիծն ԱԺ-ում քվեարկության կդրվի, եթե առաջիկա 60 օրերին 50 հազար քաղաքացի միանա ստորագրահավաքին:

Արդյունքում, իշխանությունն արևմտամետների նախաձեռնությունից դուրս է բերելու իրեն հավատարիմ անձանց, ձախողելով 50 հազար ստորագրության հավաքումը։ Իհարկե, հավաքելու դեպքում ԱԺ-ում կարող են խափանել քվեարկությունը, բայց դա էլ վտանգ են համարում, կարծում, թե իրենց ընտրազանգվածը ճիշտ չի հասկանա իրենց։ Ուստի, հարկավոր է ամեն գնով խափանել ստորագրահավաքը։ Մեկ-երկու շաբաթ բուռն ակտիվություն ցուցադրելուց հետո այն պարզապես մոռացության կմատնվի։
