Վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը ելույթ է ունեցել ՄԱԿ Գլխավոր ասամբլեայի 79-րդ նստաշրջանի շրջանակներում կազմակերպվելիք Ապագայի գագաթնաժողովին ընդառաջ սեպտեմբերի 12-ին կազմակերպված գլոբալ արշավի ընթացքում, որն անցկացվել է առցանց: Այն նախաձեռնվել է Գերմանիայի կանցլեր Օլաֆ Շոլցի, Նամիբիայի նախագահ Նանգոլո Մբումբայի և ՄԱԿ Գլխավոր քարտուղար Անտոնիո Գուտերեշի կողմից:

Արշավին միացել են ավելի քան 4 տասնյակ պետությունների և կառավարությունների ղեկավարներ:

Իր ելույթում վարչապետը նշել է.

«Մեծարգո նախագահ Մբումբա,
Մեծարգո կանցլեր Շոլց,
Մեծարգո գլխավոր քարտուղար Գուտերեշ,
Տիկնայք և պարոնայք,

Ուրախ եմ այս բարձր մակարդակի միջոցառմանը ելույթով հանդես գալու հնարավորության համար և ներկայացնելու Հայաստանի ակնկալիքներն Ապագայի գագաթնաժողովից։

Ներկայումս, երբ աշխարհը բախվում է ծանր մարտահրավերների և բազմաթիվ ճգնաժամերի, Ապագայի գագաթնաժողովը կարևոր հնարավորություն է տալիս խթանելու հավաքական ջանքերը՝ երաշխավորելու, որ բազմակողմ համակարգն ապահովում է խաղաղություն, արդարություն, բարգավաճում և հարգանք մարդու իրավունքների նկատմամբ:

Միջազգային զարգացումների ներկայիս տեմպերը ցույց են տալիս, որ մենք դեռևս շարժվում ենք հակառակ ուղղությամբ, երբ ՄԱԿ-ը դեռ կարիք ունի կանխարգելման և հաշվետվողականության անհրաժեշտ գործիքների և մեխանիզմների՝ ընդդեմ միջազգային իրավունքի ոտնահարումների, հատկապես մարդու իրավունքների կոպտագույն խախտումների և ոճրագործությունների:

ՄԱԿ-ի Կանոնադրության և միջազգային իրավունքի հենքի վրա վերափոխված բազմակողմանիությունն է պատասխանը գլոբալ անվտանգության և զարգացման մարտահրավերներին՝ ի շահ ներկա և ապագա սերունդների՝ ապահովելու, որ բոլոր ձայները լսելի լինեն, և ոչ ոք հետևում չմնա:

Այս տեսանկյունից, «Հանուն ապագայի» դաշնագիրը կարևոր փաստաթուղթ է բազմակողմանիությանը նոր շունչ հաղորդելու համար, որի հիմքում պետք է լինի ՄԱԿ-ը:

Հայաստանն ակտիվորեն ներգրավված է եղել «Հանուն ապագայի» դաշնագրի բանակցություններում՝ մշակելու առաջադեմ և բովանդակալից գործողություններ՝ դեպի ավելի լավ, ավելի անվտանգ, ավելի խաղաղ և ներառական աշխարհի ճանապարհ հարթելու համար:

Մենք անհամբեր սպասում ենք Ապագայի գագաթնաժողովի քննարկումներին՝ հիմք ստեղծելու համաշխարհային կառավարման և միջազգային խաղաղության ճարտարապետության բարեփոխման, բնապահպանական արդարության ապահովման, տեխնոլոգիական անջրպետը կամրջելու և Միավորված ազգերի կազմակերպությանը կարող դարձնելու իր մանդատն իրականացնելու համար:

Մաղթում եմ բոլորիս հաջող Ապագայի գագաթնաժողով և անհամբերությամբ սպասում եմ մասնակցելու այդ առանցքային նախաձեռնությանը»:
