Ակնհայտ է, որ բաց տարածության և քաղաքային միջավայրի արևային մարտկոցների արդյունավետությունն ու արտադրողականությունը զգալիորեն կտարբերվեն: Բայց մինչ այժմ ոչ ոք չի առաջարկում արևային մարտկոցներ, որոնք աշխատում են ստվերում կամ ցրված լույսի ներքո: Թերևս առաջին քայլը դեպի «քաղաքային» արևային մարտկոցներ արել են Հարավային Կորեայի գիտնականները, ովքեր ստեղծել են դրա համար անհրաժեշտ վերլուծական ապարատ, գրում է 3dnews.ru-ն:
Հետազոտողները հետևողականորեն շարժվել են դեպի գոյություն ունեցող վահանակների մաթեմատիկորեն հիմնված գնահատման հաշվի առնելով բոլոր բազմաթիվ անբարենպաստ գործոնները: Հիմնական եզրակացությունը, որը նույնիսկ ակնհայտ թերի և անկատար մոդելն է թույլ տվել անել, այն է, որ քաղաքի և սենյակների ներսի արևային մարտկոցները չպետք է հարթ լինեն:
Արդեն կան աշխատանքներ, որոնք առաջարկում են խճանկարային ֆոտոբջիջներ ճկուն կամ ձևավոր հիմքի վրա: Նմանատիպ մի բան, առաջին մոտավորությամբ, ստեղծվել է Կորեայի Էլեկտրատեխնիկական գիտահետազոտական ինստիտուտի (KERI) մի խումբ գիտնականների կողմից, ովքեր նախկինում կատարել են հաշվարկներ օգտագործելով նոր վերլուծական սարքը: Լաբորատորիայում անցկացված փորձերը ցույց են տվել, որ առանց պաշտպանիչ ապակու և ինքնակառավարման գործառույթ ունեցող եռաչափ առարկայի տեսքով ֆոտոպանելն ունակ է 60 %-ով ավելի շատ էներգիա արտադրել, քան սովորական հարթ ֆոտոպանելը:
Հետազոտողները չեն պնդում, որ իրենց ստեղծած վահանակն իդեալական կլինի ներքին կամ քաղաքային օգտագործման համար: Այնուամենայնիվ, նրանց առաջարկած վերլուծական սարքը, որը հաշվի է առնում լուսավորության տարրերի տեսակն ու տեսքը և նույնիսկ օդում փոշու մակարդակը, կօգնի մշակել քաղաքի համար արևային մարտկոցների ամենաօպտիմալ կառուցվածքը։ Առանձնահատուկ հետաքրքրություն է ներկայացնում այդ սարքի այն հատվածը, որը թույլ է տալիս նախագծել արևային մարտկոցներ տրանսպորտային միջոցների վրա տեղադրելու համար, որտեղ լուսավորության պայմանները գրեթե միշտ կամ հաճախ չեն համապատասխանում իդեալականին:
