Մոսկվան որևէ բանակցություն չի վարի Կիևի հետ, քանի դեռ Ուկրաինայի ուժերը դուրս չեն շպրտվել Կուրսկի մարզից. այս մասին հայտնել է Ռուսաստանի անվտանգության խորհրդի քարտուղար Սերգեյ Շոյգուն:
«Շատ, շատ կարևոր կետ կա՝ Կուրսկն է։ Եվ այս պարագայում մենք ոչ մի բանակցություն չենք վարել ահաբեկիչների հետ, չենք վարում և չենք վարելու»,- ասել է ՌԴ Անվտանգության խորհրդի քարտուղարը «Ռոսիա 24» հեռուստաալիքին տված հարցազրույցում։
Շոյգուն նաև ասել է, որ Կուրսկի ատոմակայանը գրավելու Ուկրաինայի փորձը «ոչ այլ ինչ է, քան ահաբեկչության ամենաբարձր մակարդակը»։
«Մինչև մենք նրանց մեր տարածքից դուրս չշպրտենք, մենք, բնականաբար, նրանց հետ բանակցություններ չենք վարի»,- ընդգծել է ՌԴ Անվտանգության խորհրդի քարտուղարը։
Օգոստոսի 6-ին Ուկրաինայի զինված ուժերը ներխուժել են Կուրսկի մարզ, և մարտերն այնտեղ շարունակվում են մինչ օրս։ Տարածաշրջանում հայտարարվել է դաշնային նշանակության արտակարգ դրություն։ Կազմակերպվել է սահմանամերձ բնակավայրերից բնակիչների տարհանում: Մինչև օգոստոսի 22-ն այնտեղից հեռացել է 133,000 մարդ, մնացել է ևս 20,000-ը, ասել է նահանգապետ Ալեքսեյ Սմիրնովը։ Օգոստոսի 12-ին նա հայտնել էր, որ Ուկրաինայի զինված ուժերի վերահսկողության տակ է գտնվում 28 բնակավայր։
Կիևը հայտարարել էր, որ Կուրսկի մարզում Ուկրաինայի զինված ուժերի գործողության նպատակը բանակցային գործընթացում Ուկրաինայի դիրքերն ամրապնդելն է: ՌԴ նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինը Ուկրաինայի գործողությունները որակել է «լայնածավալ սադրանք»։
