Ռուսական «Շահեդ» տիպի անօդաչու թռչող սարքերի խումբը խախտել է Ռումինիայի օդային տարածքը՝ թիրախավորելով Ուկրաինայի քաղաքացիական ենթակառուցվածքները, հայտնել է պաշտոնական Բուխարեստը:

ՆԱՏՕ-ն Ռուսաստանի կողմից իր անդամ-երկրի օդային տարածքի խախտումներն անվանել է պոտենցիալ վտանգավոր, սակայն Ռումինիայի երկնքում ռուսական անօդաչու թռչող սարքերի հայտնվելը դիտավորյալ հարձակում չի ճանաչել:

Այս մասին սոցցանցի իր էջերում հայտարարել է ՆԱՏՕ-ի գլխավոր քարտուղարի տեղակալ Միրչա Ջոանը:

Նրա խոսքով՝ դաշինքը դատապարտում է Ռուսաստանի կողմից Ռումինիայի օդային տարածքի խախտումը, սակայն հավելել, որ կատարվածը հիմքեր չի տալիս ՆԱՏՕ-ի կանոնադրության 5-րդ հոդվածի կիրառման համար, որը, ինչպես հայտնի է, նախատեսում է անդամ պետության կոլեկտիվ պաշտպանություն զինված հարձակման ժամանակ:

«Չնայած մենք չունենք տեղեկատվություն, որը կարող է վկայել Ռուսաստանի կողմից Դաշինքի դաշնակիցների դեմ կանխամտածված հարձակման մասին, այդ գործողությունները անպատասխանատու են և պոտենցիալ վտանգավոր»,- ասել է Ջոանը:

Ավելի վաղ Ռումինիայի պաշտպանության նախարարությունը հայտնել էր, որ ռադարային հսկողության համակարգը հայտնաբերել և հետևել է երկրի օդային տարածք ներխուժած անօդաչու թռչող սարքի հետագծին։
