Օգոստոսի վերջին ՆԱՍԱ-ն հայտարարեց տիեզերքում արևային առագաստի տեղակայման գործընթացն ավարտելու մասին՝ Advanced Composite Solar Sail System (ACS3) առաքելության շրջանակում: Այժմ այժմ արդեն գործակալությունը հրապարակել է առագաստի առաջին լուսանկարը, որն արվել է տիեզերանավի տեսախցիկով, որն այն հասցրել է Երկրի ուղեծիր: Ակնկալվում է, որ ապագայում արևային առագաստները կօգտագործվեն արբանյակները տիեզերք տեղափոխելու համար։
Հրապարակված լուսանկարը կարող է մի փոքր շփոթեցնող թվալ։ Դա պայմանավորված է նրանով, որ տիեզերանավը ուղեծրով շարժվելիս դանդաղ է պտտվում։ Առագաստի աշխատանքի և այն պահող կոմպոզիտային ուղեցույցների վերաբերյալ բավականաչափ հեռաչափական տվյալներ հավաքելուց հետո ՆԱՍԱ-ի մասնագետները կկայունացնում են սարքի դիրքը։ Հավանաբար սրանից հետո հնարավոր կլինի ավելի պարզ ու հասկանալի լուսանկարներ անել։
Տիեզերանավն ունի չորս լայնանկյուն տեսախցիկ, որոնցից մեկն էլ հենց արել է ՆԱՍԱ-ի հրապարակած լուսանկարը։ Նկարի ներքևի մասում տեսանելի է «արտացոլող քառակուսի առագաստներ, որոնք ամրացված են կոմպոզիտային հեծաններով», մինչդեռ վերևում պատկերված է արևային մարտկոցներից մեկի հետևի մասում: Առագաստի տարրերը մի փոքր աղավաղված են թվում տեսախցիկի լայնանկյուն տեսադաշտի պատճառով:
