7882 пострадавших и хищение на $25,8 млн: В Армении выявили транснациональную киберпреступную группу

В Армении выявлена крупная транснациональная киберпреступная группировка, похитившая в общей сложности сумму, эквивалентную 10 млрд. драмов (25,8 млн. долларов –ред.).

Как сообщили Новости Армении – NEWS.am в пресс-службе Следственного комитета Армении, установлены личности членов преступной организации, число пострадавших достигает 7882.

Под предлогом осуществления выгодных финансовых вложений на различных интернет-платформах члены организации создавали сайты с ложным контентом и похищали крупные суммы денег у граждан разных стран.

Группа граждан Армении и Украины создала в декабре 2020 года и до 2023 года возглавляла транснациональную преступную организацию. Группа завербовала и вовлекла в организацию около двух тысяч человек.

В целях управления и координации деятельности организации была создана многоуровневая иерархическая структура.

Для сокрытия преступной деятельности они приняли ряд мер. В частности, члены группы часто меняли названия компаний, банковские счета, используемые для денежных переводов, криптосчета, использовали зарубежные виртуальные номера телефонов и так далее.

Членам группы предъявлено обвинение по части 1 статьи 319 и пунктам 1 и 3 части 3 статьи 257 Уголовного кодекса Армении.
