Այսօր Ս. Հովհաննես Կարապետի և Հոբ Արդարի հիշատակի օրն է

Այս տարի սեպտեմբերի 5-ին Հայ Առաքելական Սուրբ Եկեղեցի նշում է Սուրբ Հովհաննես Կարապետի և Հոբ Արդարի հիշատակի օրը։ Այս մասին տեղեկանում ենք qahana.am-ից։
Ս. Հովհաննես Մկրտիչն Ավետարանների մեջ Հիսուս Քրիստոսից հետո ամենամեծ դեմքն ու գլխավոր գործիչն է: Լինելով խոստումի զավակ և ծնվելով հրաշալի պայմաններում՝ Հովհաննեսն իր պատանեկությունն ու երիտասարդությունն անցկացնում է մենության մեջ, Աստծո ներկայությամբ ու շնորհներով: Երբ 30 տարեկան էր, միջնորդական առաքելությամբ գնում է քարոզելու Հորդանանի հովիտ՝ Տիրոջ գալուստը պատրաստելու համար, սկզբից ևեթ կոչ անելով ապաշխարության և արդարության. «Ապաշխարեցե՜ք, որովհետև երկնքի արքայությունը մոտեցել է... Ապաշխարության արժանի գործե՜ր կատարեցեք... որովհետև կացինն ահա ծառերի արմատին է դրված: Ամեն ծառ, որ բարի պտուղ չի տա, կտրվում և կրակն է գցվում» (Մատթ. 3: 2-10): Ավետարաններում նա նույնացվել է Եսայի մարգարեի կողմից կանխատեսված «անապատի մեջ կանչողի ձայն»-ին, որն ասում է. «Պատրաստեցե՜ք Տիրոջ ճանապարհը և հարթեցե՜ք նրա շավիղները» (Մատթ. 3:3): Ս. Հովհաննեսի գործունեության գագաթնակետը Հիսուսին մկրտելն ու Նրան իբրև խոստացյալ Մեսիա հայտարարելն էր: Այս առաքելությունից հետո Հերովդես արքան Ս. Հովհաննեսին բանտարկել էր եղբոր կնոջը հափշտակելու առիթով արքային հանդիմանելու համար, այնուհետև` գլխատել:
Հոբը, որ բնակվում էր Մեռյալ ծովի մերձակա լեռնային տարածքում «արդար էր ու աստվածապաշտ մարդ, ամեն տեսակի չար ու մեղավոր գործերից հեռու» (Հոբ 1:1): Ուներ 7 տղա և 3 աղջիկ, մեծահարուստ էր, շրջապատված բազմաթիվ ծառաներով, սակայն հարստությունը չէր այլասերել նրան: Հոբն Աստծո թողտվությամբ ենթարկվել էր մի շարք փորձությունների. զրկվել հարստությունից, զավակներից, հիվանդացել էր, դարձել բորոտ, բայց այնուհանդերձ չէր մեղանչել Աստծո դեմ և կնոջ դժգոհությանն ի պատասխան ասել. «Եթե Տիրոջ ձեռքից բարիքներ ընդունեցինք, չարիքներին ինչու պիտի չհամբերե՞նք» (Հոբ 2:10): Արդարացած դուրս գալով այս բոլոր փորձություններից՝ Հոբը նախկինից ավելի մեծ օրհնությունների է արժանացել: Հոբի կյանքը մեզ երկու կարևոր ճշմարտություն է սովորեցնում. նախ՝ աշխարհի չարիքների կողքին մշտապես առկա է չարության ոգին, ապա՝ մարդու տառապանքները նպաստում են նրա կատարելագործմանը:
