Կյանքը մեր մոլորակի վրա գոյություն ունի երեք հիմնական գործոնների շնորհիվ՝ հեղուկ ջրի, Արևի էներգիայի և Երկրի մագնիսական դաշտի առկայության, որը պաշտպանում է մեզ արեգակնային ակտիվությունից: Լուսատուի վրա անընդհատ ջերմամիջուկային ռեակցիաներ են տեղի ունենում, ինչի արդյունքում լիցքավորված մասնիկների հսկայական հոսքեր, որոնք կոչվում են «արևային քամի», նետվում են տիեզերք։

Երբ այս «քամին» ուժեղանում է և հասնում Երկրի մագնիսական դաշտին, տեղի են ունենում մագնիսական փոթորիկներ: Դրանք կարող են խաթարել էլեկտրոնային համակարգերը, ազդել մարդու առողջության վրա և առաջացնել տպավորիչ բևեռափայլեր:

Գիտնական Անատոլի Պետրուկովիչի խոսքով՝ արբանյակներն ունակ են ակնթարթորեն հայտնաբերել Արեգակի վրա բռնկումները և ազդանշան փոխանցել Երկիր: Դրա շնորհիվ մասնագետները կարող են զգուշացնել, որ 2 օրից, երբ լիցքավորված մասնիկների ամպը հասնի Երկիր, որոշակի ուժգնության մագնիսական փոթորիկ կառաջանա։

Չկա «եղանակային կախվածության» բժշկական ախտորոշում, սակայն շատերը պնդում են, որ իրենց բարեկեցությունը կախված է եղանակային պայմաններից։ Ընդհանուր բժիշկ Սերգեյ Եվդոկիմովը դա բացատրում է մեր օրգանիզմի աշխատանքի առանձնահատկություններով։ Մագնիսական փոթորիկների ամենատարածված ախտանիշները, ըստ նրա, գլխացավն են, թուլությունը, տրամադրության և ինքնազգացողության վատթարացումը։ 

Ըստ Համաշխարհային արևային  ինդեքսի և երկարաժամկետ արևային դիտարկումների (SILSO) տվյալների կենտրոնի, արևային առավելագույնը կանխատեսվում է 2024 թվականի կեսերից մինչև 2025 թվականի վերջը: Մինչդեռ ԱՄՆ Ազգային Եղանակային ծառայության Տիեզերական եղանակի կանխատեսման կենտրոնը կարծում է, որ արևի առավելագույն ակտիվությունը սպասվում է 2024 թվականի վերջից մինչև 2026 թվականի սկիզբը:
