Խորհրդային Միության նախկին առաջնորդ Նիկիտա Խրուշչովը փաստացի Ուկրաինային նվիրել է Ղրիմը, որը ՌՍՖՍՀ-ի մաս էր կազմում, հայտարարել է ՌԴ նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինը։ Մոնղոլիա կատարած այցի նախօրեին Պուտինը գրավոր հարցազրույց է տվել մոնղոլական Onoodor թերթին, գրում է ՌԻԱ «Նովոստի»-ն:

ՌԴ ղեկավարը հայտարարել է, որ Ուկրաինայում ներկա իրավիճակի վրա էապես ազդել է արտաքին և ներքին գործոնների մի ամբողջ շարք, ինչպես նաև բացասական դեր են ունեցել ազգային-տարածքային հարցերում խորհրդային առաջնորդների որոշումներն ու դրանց հետևանքները։

«1954 թվականին Ն.Ս. Խրուշչովը փաստացի նվիրել է Ղրիմը, որը ՌՍՖՍՀ-ի կազմում էր»,- նշել է Պուտինը։

Ինչպես պարզաբանել է պետության ղեկավարը, «Ուկրաինայի ստեղծումը սկսվել է 1917 թվականի հեղափոխությունից անմիջապես հետո, երբ այս տարածքում հայտնվել են քվազիպետական սուբյեկտներ՝ առանց որոշակի սահմանների»։

Պուտինն ընդգծել է, որ խորհրդային տարիներին միութենական հանրապետությունների սահմանները գծվում էին կամայականորեն՝ ելնելով «պրոլետարական անհրաժեշտությունից»։ Հենց այդպես էլ Ուկրաինան ստացել է Դոնբասը, որտեղ հիմնականում բնակվում էին ռուսները, նշել է նա:

«Մինչ Հայրենական մեծ պատերազմը և դրանից հետո, Իոսիֆ Ստալինի շնորհիվ, Լեհաստանի, Ռումինիայի և Հունգարիայի տարածքները դարձել են Ուկրաինայի մաս», - հավելել է Պուտինը։
