Ներքին գործերի նախարարության Սեյսմիկ պաշտպանության տարածքային ծառայության սեյսմոլոգիական ցանցն oգոստոսի 22-ից 28-ը Հայաստանի տարածքում 2-3 և ավելի բալ ուժգնությամբ երկրաշարժ չի գրանցել։
Ինչպես «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին Սեյսմիկ պաշտպանության տարածքային ծառայությունից, տարածաշրջանում գրանցվել է 3 և ավելի բալ ուժգնությամբ 6 երկրաշարժ։
Օգոստոսի 22-ին Իրանում՝ Խոյ քաղաքից 27 կմ հարավ-արևելք՝ 4 բալ ուժգնությամբ
Օգոստոսի 23-ին Թուրքիայում՝ Արդահան քաղաքից 17 կմ հարավ-արևելք՝ 3-4 բալ ուժգնությամբ,
Օգոստոսի 26-ին Վրաստան-Հայաստան սահմանային գոտում՝ Սադախլո գյուղից 11 կմ հարավ-արևմուտք՝ 3 բալ ուժգնությամբ,
Օգոստոսի 27-ին Վրաստան-Հայաստան սահմանային գոտում՝ Բավրա գյուղից 12 կմ հյուսիս-արևելք՝ 3 բալ ուժգնությամբ,
Օգոստոսի 27-ին Վրաստանում՝ Գուրջաանի քաղաքից 45 կմ հարավ-արևելք՝ 3-4 բալ ուժգնությամբ,
Օգոստոսի 28-ին Իրանում՝ Խոյ քաղաքից 39 կմ հյուսիս-արևելք՝ 4-5 բալ ուժգնությամբ»,- ասվում է հաղորդագրության մեջ:
Ըստ աղբյուրի՝ տարածաշրջանից դուրս գրանցվել է 6.0 և ավելի մագնիտուդով 3 երկրաշարժ. օգոստոսի 25-ին 6.5 և 6.1 մագնիտուդով սեյսմիկ իրադարձություններ են տեղի ունեցել Տոնգայի Պանգայի քաղաքից, համապատասխանաբար, 76 կմ հարավ-արևմուտք և 64 կմ արևմուտք:
Օգոստոսի 28-ին Սալվադորի Սանտա Տեկլա քաղաքից 79 կմ հարավ-արևմուտք տեղի է ունեցել երկրաշարժ, որն ունեցել է 6.1 մագնիտուդ: Երկրաշարժերի հետևանքով զոհեր և ավերածություններ չկան:
