Հնագետները Եգիպտոսի Կաֆր էլ-Շեյխ քաղաքում հայտնաբերել են մ.թ.ա 6-րդ դարի առաջին և ամենախոշոր աստղադիտարանը։

Այս բացառիկ գտածոյի մասին վերջերս հաղորդագրություն է տարածել Եգիպտոսի զբոսաշրջության և հին հուշարձանների նախարարությունը:

«Հնությունների Գերագույն խորհրդի եգիպտական ​​հնագիտական ​​առաքելությունը, որն աշխատում էր Կաֆր էլ-Շեյխի Թել էլ-Ֆարեյն շրջանի Բութո տաճարում, հաջողությամբ հայտնաբերել է մ.թ.ա 6-րդ դարում կառուցված հում աղյուսներից պատրաստված առաջին և ամենախոշոր աստղադիտարանը»,- նշված է նախարարության հաղորդագրության մեջ։
