Вице-президент США Камала Харрис официально утверждена кандидатом от Демократической партии на пост президента США. Напомним, выборы президента США запланированы на ноябрь.
 
Харрис выступила на съезде Демократической партии в Чикаго и пообещала продолжать помогать Украине. Он отметил, что после полномасштабного российского вторжения предпринял усилия по объединению сил более 50 стран для поддержки Киева. "И как президент я буду твердо поддерживать Украину и наших союзников по НАТО", — заявила Харрис.
 
Вице-президент США также пообещал поддержать право Израиля на самооборону. По его словам, Белый дом каждый день работает над установлением режима прекращения огня в секторе Газа и возвращением заложников, захваченных ХАМАС. "Я гарантирую, что события 7 октября больше не повторятся", - подчеркнула Харрис, выразив обеспокоенность тем, что в результате конфликта страдают и голодают невинные люди. Она также заверила, что сделает все возможное для защиты сил и интересов США от Ирана и движений, поддерживаемых Исламской Республикой.
