Ուկրաինայի Գերագույն Ռադան քվեարկել է Միջազգային քրեական դատարանի (ՄՔԴ) Հռոմի ստատուտի վավերացման օգտին, բայց լրացումով, որը պաշտպանում է ուկրաինացիներին ռազմական հանցագործությունների համար հետապնդումներից: 

Այս մասին հաղորդում է «ՌԲԿ Ուկրաինա» պարբերականը։ 

Փաստաթուղթն ընդունվել է 281 կողմ, 1 դեմ, 22 ձեռնպահ ձայներով։ 

Ուկրաինայի նախագահի գրասենյակի ղեկավարի տեղակալ Իրինա Մուդրան հայտնել է, որ Հռոմի ստատուտի վավերացմամբ երկիրը դառնում է ՄՔԴ-ի լիիրավ անդամ, որը թույլ է տալիս թեկնածու առաջադրել ՄՔԴ-ի դատավորի և դատախազի պաշտոնի համար, մասնակցել դատավորների և այլ ընտրվող պաշտոնյաների քվեարկությանը, արդյունավետորեն համագործակցել ՄՔԴ-ի հետ։ 

Միևնույն ժամանակ, Ուկրաինան վավերացրել է Հռոմի ստատուտը 124-րդ հոդվածով նախատեսված առանձին հայտարարությամբ, որի համաձայն ուժի մեջ մտնելուց հետո յոթ տարվա ընթացքում ՄՔԴ-ն իրավասություն չի ունենա Ուկրաինայի քաղաքացիների նկատմամբ Հռոմի կանոնադրության 8-րդ հոդվածով նախատեսված հանցագործությունների, այսինքն՝ պատերազմական հանցագործությունների մասով։

ՄՔԴ-ն ստեղծվել է 1998 թվականին Հռոմի ստատուտի հիման վրա: Ներկայումս միջազգային պայմանագրին մասնակցում է 123 երկիր։ Դատարանը գտնվում է Հաագայում, բայց ունի մասնաճյուղեր, որոնք բացված են այն երկրներում, որտեղ ընթանում են հետաքննություններ։

Ուկրաինան Հռոմի ստատուտը ստորագրել էր դեռ 2000 թվականի հունվարի 20-ին, բայց այդպես էլ չէր վավերացրել այն։

Ստատուտի անդամ չհանդիսացող պետությունների թվում են Ռուսաստանը (ստորագրել է, բայց չի վավերացրել), ԱՄՆ-ն (ստորագրել է, բայց հետագայում հետ է կանչել ստորագրությունը) և Չինաստանը (չի ստորագրել ստատուտը):

Հայաստանը Հռոմի ստատուտը վավերացրել է 2023 թ. հոկտեմբերի 3-ին: Այն ուժի մեջ է մտել 2024 թ. փետրվարի 1-ից։
