Օգոստոսի 18-ին Հայաստանյայց Առաքելական Սուրբ Եկեղեցին նշեց Սուրբ Մարիամ Աստվածածնի Վերափոխման տոնը:

Տոնական օրվա առիթով Մայր Աթոռ Սուրբ Էջմիածնի միաբանությունը, Ն.Ս.Օ.Տ.Տ. Գարեգին Երկրորդ Ծայրագույն Պատրիարք և Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսի գլխավորությամբ, Սուրբ Գայանե վանքում մասնակցեց Պատարագի սրբազան արարողությանը: Պատարագիչն էր Մայր Աթոռ Սուրբ Էջմիածնի «Գարեգին Ա» կրթական կենտրոնի տնօրեն Գերաշնորհ Տ. Վահան եպիսկոպոս Հովհաննիսյանը։

Ներկայացնելով տոնի խորհուրդը՝ պատարագիչ Սրբազանը մասնավորապես նշեց. «Աստվածամայրը մեր Եկեղեցու ու ժողովրդի համար կարևոր դերակատարում ունի, որն արտացոլվում է Եկեղեցու շարականներում և պաշտամունքի մեջ, ինչպես նաև՝ մեր խորանները զարդարված են Աստվածամոր պատկերով»։ Այս առիթով պատարագիչ Սրբազանն ընդգծեց, որ Աստվածամայրը, լինելով սովորական մարդ, գիտակցելով մարդկային կյանքում առկա դժվարությունները, առանց վարանելու, խիզախորեն անսաց հրեշտակապետի խոսքին՝ դառնալով Մարմնացյալ Աստծու մայրը․ «Աստվածամայրը, իր կամքը հնազանդեցնելով Աստծու կամքին, նախ և առաջ առիթ ու միջոց եղավ Աստծու փրկագործության ծրագրի իրագործման։ Սրանով նաև մեզ կարևոր դաս տվեց, որ անկախ կյանքում առկա իրողությունների, մենք պետք է հնազանդվենք Տիրոջ կամքին»,-նշեց Սրբազան Հայրը։

Վերջում Վահան Սրբազանը հայցեց Աստածամոր բարեխոսությունը, որպեսզի Աստված զորացնի մեր հավատքը և յուրաքանչյուրիս մեջ արթնացնի նվիրումի ու քաջության ոգին։

Սուրբ Պատարագի ավարտից հետո եկեղեցական թափորը Սուրբ Գայանե վանքից ուղղվեց դեպի Մայր Աթոռ Սուրբ Էջմիածնի Սուրբ Տրդատի բաց խորան, որտեղ հանդիսապետությամբ Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսի, կատարվեց «Խաղողօրհնեքի» հանդիսավոր կարգը: Օրհնված խաղողի ողկույզները բաժանվեցին հավատավոր ժողովրդին:
