Ամերիկայի Հայ դատի հանձնախումբը վերահաստատել է իր դժգոհությունը Թրամփ-Վենսի վարչակազմից՝ 2020 թվականին Արցախի բնիկ հայերի վրա Ադրբեջանի հարձակումը խրախուսելու, Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը ճանաչելուց հրաժարվելու և, Արցախյան 44-օրյա պատերազմի ընթացքում կատարված ռազմական հանցագործությունները չդատապարտելու և Ադրբեջանին պատասխանատվության ենթարկելու կարևոր քայլեր չձեռնարկելու համար։

Հանձնախումբը նշում է, թե, հետևելով հետագա վարչակազմերի օրինակին, Թրամփ-Փենսի վարչակազմը չեղյալ հայտարարեց Ազատության աջակցության ակտի 907-րդ բաժինն իր գործողության բոլոր չորս տարիների համար՝ չեղարկելով Հայաստանի և Արցախի շրջափակման պատճառով Ադրբեջանին տրամադրվող ԱՄՆ օգնության սահմանափակումները:

Բացի դրանից, Թրամփ-Փենսի վարչակազմը խախտեց Հայաստանին և Ադրբեջանին ԱՄՆ ռազմական օգնության հավասարության հաստատված նախադեպը և կտրուկ ավելացրեց ԱՄՆ ռազմական օգնությունը Բաքվին՝ հատկացնելով ավելի քան 120 միլիոն դոլար, ինչը խթանեց Ալիևի վարչակարգի ագրեսիան, որն ավարտվեց 2020 թվականի սեպտեմբերին Արցախի վրա հարձակմամբ: Այժմ ակնկալում են, որ ամերիկահայ ընտրողներն ակնկալում են, որ Թրամփ-Վենս արշավը կդատապարտի Ադրբեջանի էթնիկ զտումներն Արցախում և կաջակցի Կոնգրեսի ջանքերին՝ Ադրբեջանին պատասխանատվության ենթարկելու՝ մարդկայնության դեմ կատարած հանցագործությունների համար:

Գաղտնիք չէ, որ հայ համայնքն ավելի ակտիվորեն համագործակցել է դեմոկրատական կուսակցության հետ։ Նույնն է նաև ՀՀ իշխանությունների պարագայում, որոնք առավել լավ են լեզու գտել ԱՄՆ դեմոկրատական, քան հանրապետական կուսակցության հետ։ Հաշվի առնելով նոյեմբերին ԱՄՆ ընտրություններում հնարավոր զարգացումները, նաև Դոնալդ Թրամփի ենթադրյալ հաղթանակը, թե՛ հայկական կազմակերպություները, թե՛ Հայաստանը պետք է ավելի ակտիվացնեն շփումները հանրապետականների, Թրամփ-Վենս զույգի հետ, հակառակ դեպքում, վակուումը կլցնեն ադրբեջանցիները, որոնք առանց այն էլ գործարար որոշ շփումներ են ունեցել Դոնալդ Թրամփի հետ։
