Президент Грузии: Наша европерспектива остановлена до выборов

Президент Грузии Саломе Зурабишвили заявила, что перспектива членства страны в ЕС полностью зависит от результатов парламентских выборов, которые состоятся 26 октября, заявление грузинского президента во время пресс-конференции приводит Sova. https://sova.news/
По ее словам, сейчас перспективы Грузии по интеграции в ЕС остановлены.
«Это (членство в ЕС) – задача всего нашего дня и всего общества. Это полностью зависит от выборов. Все ждут нас. Все приостановлено, но не остановлено, не заморожено и не пересматривается навсегда. Это приостановление... перед выборами, чтобы все могли увидеть, какова воля населения Грузии», – отметила Зурабишвили.
Она убеждена, что Грузия достойна того, чтобы вернуться на путь евроинтеграции.
«Мы – европейская страна. Мы прошли долгий путь к этому, что дает нам право требовать ускоренного возвращения на наш путь. Это зависит от наших избирателей», – резюмировала Зурабишвили.
Как известно, отношения Грузии и Запада в последние месяцы резко ухудшились, прежде всего из-за принятия грузинскими властями скандального закона «О прозрачности иностранного влияния».
На саммите в конце июня лидеры ЕС заявили о де-факто приостановке процесса евроинтеграции Грузии.
