Завершено следствие по делу правозащитника Карапета Погосяна

Публичное уголовное преследование в отношении правозащитника, оппозиционного деятеля Карапета Погосяна прекращено. Об этом сообщили его адвокаты.

«Сообщаем, что решением прокурора, осуществляющего надзор за указанным уголовным производством, от 30 июля 2024 года публичное уголовное преследование в отношении Карапета Погосяна по части 1 статьи 396 Уголовного кодекса РА (незаконный оборот наркотических средств, психотропных веществ, их препаратов или эквивалентных веществ (аналогов) или их производных или прекурсоров без цели реализации) прекращено в соответствии с пунктом 1 части 1 статьи 12 Уголовно-процессуального кодекса РА (лицо не совершило инкриминируемого ему деяния).

В то же время сообщаем, что решением прокурора, осуществляющего надзор за тем же производством, от 31 июля 2024 года в отношении Карапета Погосяна было возбуждено новое публичное уголовное преследование по пункту 3 части 2 статьи 297 Уголовного кодекса РА (хулиганство, совершенное с использованием информационных или коммуникационных технологий), которым, по сути, была переписана формулировка уже возбужденного публичного уголовного преследования.

По данному уголовному производству заявлено о завершении предварительного следствия. Обвинительное заключение и материалы производства будут переданы в суд.
