Вышел  трейлер второго сезона сериала «Властелин колец: Кольца власти». Премьера состоялась во время панели шоу на Comic-Con в Сан-Диего. Трейлер дал поклонникам возможность взглянуть на масштабные действия, которые будут происходить по мере продолжения битвы с Сауроном.

«Саурон вернулся. Изгнанный Галадриэлью, без армии или союзника, восходящий Темный Властелин теперь должен положиться на свою собственную хитрость, чтобы восстановить свою силу и проконтролировать создание Колец власти, которые позволят ему подчинить все народы Средиземья своей зловещей воле», - отмечается в официальном синопсисе Prime Video.

Трейлер содержит сцены эпических сражений, магии, массовых разрушений, эльфов и говорящего дерева. Кадры борьбы за власть над Средиземьем повышают ставки первого сезона и продолжают расширять вселенную «Властелина колец».

Действие сериала происходит за тысячи лет до оригинальной серии «Властелин колец», и он частично основан на посмертном романе Дж. Р. Р. Толкина «Сильмариллион».

«Кольца власти», созданные Дж. Д. Пейном и Патриком Маккеем, вошли в историю телевидения, когда Amazon заплатила 1 миллиард долларов  за пять сезонов, что сделало его самым дорогим телешоу в истории.
