Церемония открытия Олимпийских игр 2024 года в Париже обещает стать историческим событием. Церемония пройдет на реке Сена, а не на традиционном стадионе.

Ожидается, что на мероприятии выступит  Селин Дион. Это будет ее первое выступление  после того, как в декабре 2022 года ей поставили диагноз синдрома жесткой личности.  Сообщается, что к ней присоединится Леди Гага.

Слухи об участии певиц начали циркулировать в начале этой недели после того, как Леди Гага и Дион были замечены в городе любви.

25 июля, за день до того, как миллионы людей будут смотреть международное событие, открывающее Олимпийские игры 2024 года, французский журналист Тьерри Моро сообщил о том, что Дион и Гага репетировали дуэтом песню «La Vie en Rose». TMZ также подтвердил эту новость.

«La Vie en Rose», что переводится как «Жизнь в розовом», исполнила известная французская певица Эдит Пиаф. Написанная в 1945 году и выпущенная как сингл в 1947 году, песня получила международное признание в США и во всем мире. Ее перепевали многие артисты, включая Андреа Бочелли, Одри Хепберн, Бинга Кросби, Карлу Бруни, Далиду, Дина Мартина и Диану Кралл и других.

Гага также не новичок в исполнении французской баллады. Она спела «La Vie en Rose» в романтическом мюзикле 2018 года «Звезда родилась».
