Ժողովրդագրությունը Հայաստանի համար առանցքային ռազմավարական ուղղություն պետք է դառնա, մինչդեռ Հայաստանի գործող իշխանությունների քայլերն այդ ուղղությամբ պոպուլիստական հայտարարություններից այն կողմ չեն անցնում։ Ընդհակառակը, գործող կառավարությունը՝ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի գլխավորությամբ, ամեն բան անում է հայ ժողովրդին սեփական երկրից դուրս մղելու համար։

Վերջին 30 տարվա ընթացքում Հայաստանի մշտական բնակչությունը 3,6 մլն-ից նվազել է մինչև 3 միլիոն մարդ։ Ընդ որում քաղաքների բնակչությունը գերազանցում է 1,9 մլնը, որից 1,1 մլն-ն ապրում է մայրաքաղաք Երևանում։

Իշխանությունը հայտարարում է, որ երկրի բնակչությունը վերջին 2 տարում աճել է 200 հազար մարդով։ Սակայն այդ աճը ձևավորվել է հատուկ ռազմական գործողության մեկնարկից հետո Հայաստան տեղափոխված վերաբնակիչների, ինչպես նաև Արցախը հանձնելուց հետո նրա, գրեթե բոլոր բնակիչների տեղահանման հաշվին։ Դրա հետ մեկտեղ ծնելիությունը կայուն նվազման միտում ունի։ Գնալով նվազում է նաև ամուսնությունների, ավելանում՝ ամուսնալուծությունների թիվը։ Ցավոք, ՄԱԿ-ի տվյալներով, վերջին երկու տարվա ընթացքում Հայաստանում ավելացել են մանկական և մայրական մահացության ցուցանիշները՝ 104-րդ տեղից (բարեկեցիկ երկրների մակարդակ) իջնելով 108-րդ տեղ։ Հիմնական պատճառը պետական բժշկության անբավարար մակարդակն է, քաղաքացիների ցածր բարեկեցությունն ու կենցաղային անկայունությունը, արտագաղթը։ Այս իրավիճակը բերելու է նրան, որ ևս 30 տարի հետո Հայաստանի բնակչությունը չի գերազանցի 2,5 միլիոնը։

«Համահայկական ճակատ» շարժման առաջնորդ, պաշտպանության նախկին նախարար, գեներալ-մայոր Արշակ Կարապետյանի կարծիքով, հարկավոր է համախմբել հայերին, պայմաններ ստեղծել ավելի քան մեկ միլիոն մարդ Հայաստան վերադառնալու համար, ովքեր վերջին 30 տարիների ընթացքում լքել են իրենց երկիրը։

Գեներալ-մայոր Կարապետյանը դեռ 2018-ին կանխատեսել էր, որ մի քանի տարվա ընթացքում նոր պատերազմ կլինի ու մենք կպարտվենք։ «Ինչ հիմքեր ունեի: Բավական էր վիճակագրությունը և բաց տվյալները: Օրինակ, 1990-ականներին Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի ժողովրդագրական ցուցանիշները քիչ թե շատ համեմատելի էին։ Մեր բնակչության թիվը մոտենում էր 4 միլիոնին, իսկ նրանք մոտ 6 միլիոն էին: երկու հանրապետությունները չունեին բյուջե և կառուցվածքային բանակ: Մենք կարողացանք ավելի արագ կազմակերպվել առաջին հերթին հայազգի խորհրդային սպաների շնորհիվ ու դրա համար էլ այն ժամանակ հաղթեցինք։ 30 տարի անց Ադրբեջանի բնակչությունը չորս անգամ գերազանցում է Հայաստանի բնակչությանը»,- ցավով նշել է «Համահայկական ճակատ» շարժման առաջնորդ Արշակ Կարապետյանը՝ կոչ անելով գործուն ջանքերով փոխել իրավիճակը։
