Мы с рядом представителей законодательной власти Евросоюза указали на необходимость полной реализации Соглашения о всеобъемлющем и расширенном партнерстве (CEPA) между Арменией и ЕС. Об этом написал на своей странице в «Facebook» представитель Верховного органа АРФ Дашнакцутюн, депутат от блока «Армения» Ишхан Сагателян.

«Мы в Европарламенте обсудили вопросы, связанные с отношениями Армении и ЕС. В ходе встреч с председателем группы дружбы с Арменией в Европарламенте Лукасом Фурласом, членом Социал-демократической политической группы Костасом Мавридесом, членом политической группы Европейских консерваторов и реформистов Чарли Веймерсом я поблагодарил их за принципиальный подход, который они проявили на протяжении многих лет в вопросах, связанных с Арменией и Нагорным Карабахом.

Подчеркнув недопустимость продолжающейся политики Азербайджана по навязыванию односторонних уступок Армении угрозой применения силы, я представил дестабилизирующие последствия такой политики для региона.

Особое внимание было уделено вопросу освобождения удерживаемых в Азербайджане армянских военнопленных и военно-политического руководства Нагорного Карабаха. Была подчеркнута необходимость оказания международного давления на Азербайджан», – отметил Сагателян.
