Բրիտանական աշխարհահռչակ Euromoney ֆինանսական պարբերականը ESG (բնապահպանական, սոցիալական և կառավարում) չափանիշների շրջանակում Ակբա բանկին ճանաչել է Հայաստանի «Լավագույն ESG-Բանկ» (Armenia's Best Bank for ESG):
Ակբա բանկը Euromoney-ի կողմից ESG չափանիշներով Հայաստանում ճանաչվել է լավագույնը՝ հաշվի առնելով ESG շրջանակում բանկի վարկային պորտֆելի կայուն աճն ու վերջինիս աճող մասնաբաժինը, բանկում և հասարակության շրջանում համապատասխան կրթական ծրագրերի իրականացումը, ինչպես նաև բանկի ռազմավարության մեջ ESG քաղաքականության զարգացումը։
Հաշվի առնելով միջազգային լավագույն փորձը, Ակբան մշակել և շուտով ներդնելու է «կանաչ» վարկերի տրամադրման սեփական ընթացակարգերը, որոնց միջոցով սահմանվելու են «կանաչ» վարկերի չափանիշները, CO2-ի արտանետման հաշվարկման մեխանիզմները։
Ակբա բանկն արդեն մշակել է նաև «կանաչ» պարտատոմսերի համակարգ (Green Bond Framework), ինչը թույլ է տալու ներգրավվող միջոցներն ուղղել միայն «կանաչ» նախագծերի ֆինանսավորմանը։
Բացի այս, Ակբան կթողարկի նաև Կայուն զարգացման հաշվետվություն (Sustainability report)՝ ներկայացնելով բանկի գործունեության ազդեցությունը սոցիալական, տնտեսական և բնապահպանական ոլորտներում։
Գործունեության ամբողջ ընթացքում Ակբան զգալի ուշադրության է արժանացրել բանկում կառավարչական արդյունավետ մոտեցումների և քաղաքականությունների մշակմանը, ինչպես նաև մշտապես մասնակցել և աջակցել է Հայաստանի սոցիալական և բնապահպանական միջավայրերի զարգացմանը։
Ակբա բանկն իր գործունեության սկզբից զգալի ուշադրություն է դարձրել նաև համայնքների համաչափ զարգացմանը. բանկի 65 մասնաճյուղերից 44-ը գտնվում են մարզերում։ Մարզերում բաժին է հասնում բանկի վարկային պորտֆելի շուրջ 50%-ը։
Բացի այս, բանկն ակտիվորեն մասնակցել և մասնակցում է Հայաստանում Կայուն զարգացմանը միտված բազմաթիվ ծրագրերի իրականացմանը։
Ակբան բանկային համակարգում «կանաչ» տնտեսությունների, էներգաարդյունավետ նախագծերի ֆինանսավորման առաջատարներից է։ Դեռևս 2011-ին Ակբան IFC-ի (Միջազգային ֆինանսական կորպորացիա) հետ համատեղ մշակել և բանկի կառավարման համակարգում ներդրել է «Սոցիալական և շրջակա միջավայրի ռիսկերի կառավարման» համակարգ, որի սահմաններում շարունակում է ֆինանսավորման արդյունավետ գործունեություն ծավալել հատկապես ESG չափանիշների շրջանակում։ Ակբա բանկը Հայաստանի առաջին լիզինգային կազմակերպության՝ Ակբա Լիզինգի հիմնադիրն է ու 100% բաժնետերը (վերջինիս լիզինգային պորտֆելում «կանաչ» ֆինանսավորման հատվածը կազմում է ավելի քան 40%), Եվրոպայի առաջատար ակտիվների կառավարիչ ֆրանսիական Ամունդիի հետ համատեղ Հայաստանում հիմնադրել է «Ամունդի-Ակբա Ասեթ Մենեջմենթ» ընկերությունը: Ակբա բանկը ներկայացված է Հայաստանի բոլոր մարզերում, ունի 65 մասնաճյուղ։ Բանկն ունի շուրջ 5600 բաժնետեր։
