Բացարձակ պետք չի շտապել` Թրամփին նախագահ կարգելու հարցում։ Բացարձակ: Ասեմ ավելին, նրա առջև ծառացած խնդիրներն առավել լուրջ են Հարիսի թեկնածության պարագայում, քան Բայդենի: Այս մասին ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրել է միջազգայնագետ Սուրեն Սարգսյանը:

Նա, մասնավորապես, նշել է. «Իհարկե Հարիսը դեռ երկար ճանապարհ ունի անցնելու կուսակցության հորձանուտներում, բայց կարծում եմ նրան կհաջովի դառնալ կուսակցության հիմնական թեկնածու: Իհարկե, եթե Բայդենը հրաժարական ներկայացներ և Հարիսը փաստացի արպես նապագահ մտներ մրցապայքարի մեջ, կարծում եմ նրա շանսերն ավելի մեծ կլինեին Թրամփին հաղթելու հարցում, սակայն ունենք այն, ինչ ունենք:

Այստեղ կարևոր դեր են խաղալու կուսակցության «ոժդ»-երը ի դեմս Քլինթոնների, Օբամայի, Փելոսիի, ինչպես նաև դոնորների՝ ի դեմս Սորոսի, Հոֆմանի և այլ երևելիների: Սակայն որքան էլ նրանք տարբեր կարծիքներ և էնտուզիազմ ունենան Հարիսի թեկնածության հարի շուրջ, Թրամփից մեծ հակառակորդ նրանք չունեն՝ հետևաբար համախմբումն ինչ որ փուլում անխուսափելի է:

Վերջին շաբաթները շոկային էին դեմոկրատների համար: Բայդենի թույլ դեբատը, նրա կովիդը, հետո մրցապայքարից դուրս գալը հարված էր կուսակցության դիրքերին և հաստատված ներքին ստատուս քվոին: Իսկ Թրամփի դեմ անհաջող մահափորձը նրան «չհանձնվող զոհ» դարձրեց, նպաստելով նրա շուրջ կոնսոլիդացիային և ռեյտինգի բարձրացմանը:

Եվս մեկ կարևոր դետալ. Ի տարբերություն դեմոկրատների, հանրապետականները միախմբված են Թրամփի շուրջ՝ այդ թվում նրան չսիրողները: Ի տարբերություն դեմոկրատների, հանրապետականում գեր-ազդեցիկ թևեր չկան: Դրանք Թրամփի կողմից հետևողականորեն «չեզոքաքցվել և վնասազերծվել են»: Կուսակցությունում որոշումների կայացման վրա ազդեցություն չունի նույնիսկ միակ կենդանի հանրապետական նախագահ Բուշը, ում գերդաստանը ամենից ազդեցիկներից էր ԱՄՆ քաղաքական Օլիմպոսում: Իսկ հիմա ոչ նա, ոչ նրա փոխնախագահ Չեյնին, ոչ էլ նրանց թիմի որևէ առանցքային դեմք հանրապետական ասպարեզում չկա:

Ինչ վերաբերում է դեմոկրատներին, ապա նրանք դեռ ունեն կոզրեր, որոնք դաշտ են նետելու քայլ առ քայլ: Օրինակ Հարիսի փոխնախագահը կարող է լինել ճոճվող նահանգներից մեկը ներկայացնող կին թեկնածու (նահանգապետ կամ սենատոր) և ստրատեգները կարող են ստեղծեն երկու կանանց տանդեմ, ովքեր պայքար են մղում երկու տղամարդու դեմ: Գեղեցիկ ստրատեգիա կլինի: Կամ, պատկերացրեք Թրամփ-Հարիս բանավեճը՝ «նախկին դատախազ Հարիսն ընդդեմ հանցագործությունների մեջ մեղավոր ճանաչված Թրամփի», ինչ խոսք սա նույնպես աշխատող մարտավարություն է: Այսինքն տեխնոլոգիաների մի լայն տեսականի դեռևս դաշտ չի նետվել:

Իսկ եթե հաշվի առնենք, որ դեմոկրտաները քանակապես ԱՄՆ-ում ավելի շատ են քան հանրապետականները, ապա պատկերն առավել հետաքրքիր է դառնում: Դրան էլ հավելում ենք այն հանգամանքը, որ նախագահներին այդուհանդերձ ԱՄՆ-ում ընտրում են ընդամենը 7-8 ճոճվող նահանգներում, ապա իրավիճակն իրոք հետաքրքրության և անկանխատեսելիության հարթություն է տեղափոխվում»:
