Վրաստանի վարչապետ Իրակլի Կոբախիձեն մեկնաբանել է ԱՄՆ-ում նախագահական մրցավազքում տեղի ունեցող վերջին զարգացումները։ Նրա խոսքով՝ հանրապետական Դոնալդ Թրամփի հաղթանակը կօգնի վերջ դնել Ուկրաինայի պատերազմին։ Այս մասին գրում է ekhokavkaza.com-ը:
«Իհարկե, մենք չենք կարող միջամտել որևէ մեկի ընտրություններին, հատկապես այնպիսի մեծ երկրի նախագահական ընտրություններին, ինչպիսին ԱՄՆ-ն է։ Դա մեր գործը չէ: Միակ բանը, որ կարելի է ասել, այն է, որ եթե Թրամփը հաղթի ընտրություններում, Ուկրաինայում պատերազմն ավելի արագ կավարտվի։ Հետևաբար, մեր տարածաշրջանն ավելի արագ կհանդարտվի, ինչը կփոխի վերաբերմունքը, մասնավորապես, Վրաստանի նկատմամբ։ Եթե տարածաշրջանում խաղաղություն լինի, Վրաստանի նկատմամբ վերաբերմունքը կփոխվի: Սա այն ամենն է, ինչ կարելի է ասել դրա մասին, մնացածը Ամերիկայի ժողովրդի ընտրությունն է։ Ամերիկայի ժողովուրդը պետք է որոշի, թե ով է լինելու իր նախագահը», – ասել է Վրաստանի վարչապետը:

«Վրացական ընդդիմությունը ոչ միայն քննադատում էր Թրամփին, հիշում եք՝ ինչ կոշտ, վիրավորական արտահայտություններ էին նրանք օգտագործում ԱՄՆ նախկին նախագահի հասցեին: Այսօր նրանց հռետորաբանությունը փոխվել է, քանի որ նրանք կարծում են, որ Թրամփը, ամենայն հավանականությամբ, կհաղթի ընտրություններում, բայց ոչ ոք չի կարող մոռանալ այն կոպիտ հռետորաբանությունը, որը նրանք օգտագործել են երկար տարիների ընթացքում: Եթե Թրամփը հաղթի, Ուկրաինայում պատերազմն ավելի շուտ կավարտվի, քան կավարտվի մեկ այլ դեպքում, հետևաբար, տարածաշրջանն ավելի արագ կհանդարտվի, և նման իրավիճակում Վրաստանի նկատմամբ վերաբերմունքը կփոխվի, Վրաստանի նկատմամբ ավելի շատ արդարություն կլինի», - հավելել է Կոբախիձեն։
