«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է.

Ինչպես երևում է, Երևանի քաղաքապետ Տիգրան Ավինյանը էլեկտրական մեքենաների «սիրահար» է: Բանն այն է, որ վերջերս քաղաքապետարանը ձեռք է բերել 20 նոր էլեկտրական մեքենա: Ավելին, մեր աղբյուրների փոխանցմամբ, առաջիկայում նպատակ կա որոշակի քանակությամբ նոր էլեկտրամեքենաներ ևս ձեռք բերել:

«Փաստ» թերթի տեղեկություններով, էկոլոգիապես մաքուր մեքենաների անցնելու գործոնից բացի, պաշտոնական «արդարացումն» այն է լինելու, որ նախ՝ կառավարության որոշմամբ, ծառայողական մեքենաները չեն կարող 10 տարուց «ծեր» լինել, իսկ քաղաքապետարանի մեքենաների գերակշիռ մեծամասնությունը տասից ավելի տարվա արտադրության են, երկրորդ՝ էլեկտրական մեքենաների շահագործման դեպքում էապես կրճատվելու են դրանց սպասարկման ծախսերը, մասնավորաբար՝ կվերանան բենզինի, քսայուղերի ծախսերը: Մեր աղբյուրների փոխանցմամբ, Տիգրան Ավինյանը ցանկանում է քաղաքապետարանի մեքենաների գրեթե ողջ պարկը ժամանակի ընթացքում թարմացնել էլեկտրամեքենաներով:
