Հայաստանն ու Եվրամիությունը բանակցում են գործընկերության նոր օրակարգի շուրջ․ կլինեն նոր ու կարևոր տարրեր, որոնք կօգնեն Հայաստանի անվտանգությանն ու ԵՄ-ի հետ տնտեսական համագործակցությանը, կնպաստեն երկրի դիմադրողականությանը։
Այս մասին ասել է Հայաստանում ԵՄ դեսպան Վասիլիս Մարագոսը՝ ելույթ ունենալով Մատենադարանում մեկնարկած Հայագիտության միջազգային կոնգրեսի ժամանակ։
«Ուզում եմ նաև ընդգծել, որ Եվրամիությունը ներգրավված է այս տարածաշրջանում խաղաղությանն ու կարգավորմանը աջակցելու գործում: Եվ, մասնավորապես, ուզում եմ ընդգծել, թե որքանով ենք մենք պաշտպանում Հայաստանի ինքնիշխանությունը և Հայաստանի տարածքային ամբողջականությունը։ Մենք դիտորդական առաքելություն ենք տեղակայել Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի սահմանին, որը հատկապես նպաստում է սահմանային տարածքներում մարդկային անվտանգության ապահովմանը։ Այս համատեքստում ուզում եմ նաև տեղեկացնել, որ Եվրամիությունը եղել է Լեռնային Ղարաբաղից փախստականներին աջակցելու առաջնագծում։ Մենք ավելացրել ենք մեր աջակցությունը անցյալ տարվա աշնանից: Այս գործընթացի սկզբում մենք տրամադրել ենք ավելի քան 20 միլիոն եվրոյի աջակցություն և մարդասիրական օգնություն: Եվ հիմա մենք աջակցում ենք բնակարանաշինությանը, զբաղվածությանը և մի շարք որոշումներ ենք ընդունում, որոնցով պատրաստվում ենք փախստականների ինտեգրման համար մեր բյուջետային աջակցությունը ՀՀ Կառավարությանը հասցնել մինչև 40 միլիոնի», - ասաց ԵՄ դեսպանը՝ հավելելով, որ 2024 թվականի ապրիլի 5-ին Եվրամիությունը հայտարարել է Հայաստանի դիմակայունության և աճի համար 270 միլիոն եվրոյի օգնություն հատկացնելու մասին։
Վասիլիս Մարագոսը նաև խոսել է ԵՄ-ի կողմից Սյունիքի մարզում իրականացվող ծրագրերի և այնտեղ կատարվող ներդրումային նախագծերի մասին։
