Աշխարհաքաղաքական իրավիճակը Հարավային Կովկասում վերջին չորս տարիներին հիմնովին փոփոխության է ենթարկվել, կապված ԼՂ-ի՝ քաղաքական քարտեզից անհետանալու, ինչպես նաեւ Հայաստանի եւ Ադրբեջանի միջեւ սահմանների փոփոխության հետ։ Այդ փոփոխությունները զուգորդվել են ուժերի բալանսի զգալի փոփոխության հետ՝ գրում է Pars Today-ը։ Անկարայի եւ Բաքվի միջեւ ստորագրված պայմանագիրը, ռուս խաղաղապահների տեղակայումը ԼՂ-ից եւ այնտեղից դուրսբերումը, սահմանափակ թվով դիտորդական առաքելության հաստատումը Հայաստանում՝ հայ-ադրբեջանական սահմանին դիտորդություն իրականացնելու համար, եւ այդ սահմանից ռուս սահմանապահների դուրսբերումը խորը հետեւանքներ են ունենում Իրանի շահերի վրա։

Արեւմտամետ իշխանություններ ունեցող Հայաստանը մտադիր է նվազեցնել Հայաստանի կախվածությունը Ռուսաստանից նաեւ տնտեսական եւ էներգետիկ առումով, իսկ Բաքուն, ամբողջապես հասկանալով իրավիճակը, դիտարկում է այս հարցը որպես լծակ, որով կարող է ճնշում գործադրել Երեւանի վրա՝ հավելյալ օգուտներ իր համար կորզելու համար։ Տարածաշրջանում ռուսական գազի փոխարինման երկու տարբերակ կա՝ Իրան եւ Ադրբեջան։ Եթե Երեւանն ընտրի երկրորդ տարբերակը, ապա ավելի շատ է ներքաշված լինելու թուրք-ադրբեջանական տանդեմի ազդեցության տակ։ Սակայն Երեւանն ու Թեհրանը կարող են ընդլայնել համագործակցությունն էներգետիկ ոլորտում։ Ներկայում Իրան-Հայաստան գազամուղը շահագործվում է փոքր հզորությամբ, սակայն այն կարող է ապահովել Հայաստանի էներգետիկ պահանջարկի ուղիղ կեսը։ Գազամուղը, որով ռուսական գազը հասնում է Հայաստան, անցնում է Տավուշով։ Եթե Ադրբեջանը ճանապարհ ստանա դեպի իր անկլավները, ապա ռուսական ռազմավարական նշանակության գազամուղը կարող է հայտնվել Բաքվի ուղիղ դիտակետի ներքո։ Այսօր կարեւոր է երկու երկրների հարաբերությունների օրակարգում էներգետիկ մատակարարումների հարցը, եւ բանակցություններում նաեւ Բաքվից Երեւանի կողմից գազ գնելու հավանականության հարցն է քննարկվել։ Այս հարցը կարող է մաս դառնալ կողմերի միջեւ կնքվելիք համապարփակ համաձայնագրին։

Սահմանային դեմարկացիայի եւ դելիմիտացիայի ներկայիս գործընթացը Հարավային Կովկասում նոր վտանգավոր իրավիճակ է ստեղծում, որը կարող է անառողջ նախադեպ դառնալ նաեւ այլոց համար։ Նախ, տեղի ունեցած փոփոխությունը հիմնված է ավելի փխրուն ճարտարապետության վրա, որտեղ բազան առավել թույլ կողմի վրա գործադրվող կրկնակի ճնշումն է։ Երկրորդ․ գործընթացը Հայաստանին դարձնում է հաճախորդ երկիր Ադրբեջանի համար։ Այդպիսով, Երեւանը բավարարում է Բաքվի եւ Անկարայի պահանջները եւ երաշխավորում Թուրքիայի առաջնորդությունը տարածաշրջանում։ Մինչդեռ հայ-ադրբեջանական պետական սահմանի կարգավորման հարցը չպետք է դառնա ապագա խաղաղության նախապայմաններից մեկը։

Դելիմիտացիաների եւ դեմարկացիաների համաշխարհային փորձը ցույց է տալիս, որ այն կարող է տեւել տասնամյակներ։ Վրաստանն ու Ադրբեջանը քննարկում են, խորհրդակցում են իրենց սահմանային կարգավորման հարցերի շուրջ,- նշում է իրանական պարբերականը,- արդեն մոտ երեսուն տարի, սակայն, չնայած դրան, որեւէ ռազմական ճնշում այդ գործընթացի ապահովման կամ արագացման հարցում չկա։ Հայաստանի պարագայում` եթե մեկը մյուսի հետ կապվի, ապա Բաքվի համար լծակ կստեղծվի՝ ճնշում գործադրելու Երեւանի վրա եւ տարածաշրջանում՝ իրանական սահմաններին մոտ ապակայունացման օջախ ստեղծելու համար, ամփոփում է Pars Today-ը։
