ՀՀ բարձր տեխնոլոգիական արդյունաբերության նախարար Մխիթար Հայրապետյանը, նախարարի տեղակալ Գևորգ Մելիքսեթյանի հետ հուլիսի 17-ին այցելել է Ucom ընկերություն։ Ucom ընկերության գլխավոր տնօրեն Ռալֆ Յիրիկյանի ուղեկցությամբ նախարարը շրջայց է կատարել ընկերությունում, ծանոթացել վերջին շրջանում իրականացված բարեփոխումներին՝ ցանցի ընդլայնման և արդիականացման ուղղությամբ իրականացված աշխատանքներին։

Ռալֆ Յիրիկյանն ընկերության այլ աշխատակիցների հետ միասին ներկայացրել է ընկերության ապագա ծրագրերն ու ռազմավարական նպատակները: 

Հանդիպման ընթացքում անդրադարձ է կատարվել նաև աշխատանքի ընթացքում առաջ եկած խնդիրներին։ Քննարկվել են դրանք լուծելու առաջարկությունները, նախարարության աջակցության հնարավորությունները՝ խնդիրների լուծման գործում։ Ներկայացվել է նաև ոլորտում առկա մարտահրավերները: Նախարարն ընդգծել է, որ ոլորտային խնդիրները Բարձր տեխնոլոգիական արդյունաբերության նախարարության խոշորացույցի տակ են, դրանց անհապաղ լուծման շուրջ աշխատանքեր են տարվում: 

Նշվել է, որ ընկերության կարևորագույն  առաքելությունն է բարձրորակ ինտերնետը հասանելի դարձնել ամբողջ Հայաստանի տարածքում: Այդ ուղղությամբ բազմակողմանի գործունեություն են ծավալում, որոնց թվում՝  5G անցմանը պատրաստ ցանց և որակապես նոր հեռուստատեսություն ունենալու նպատակով համաշխարհային ճանաչում ունեցող Nokia և հեռուստատեսության միջազգային առաջատար MediaKind ընկերությունների հետ համագործակցության համաձայնագրերի կնքում էր։ 

Այսօր Ucom ֆիքսված ցանցը հաջողությամբ գործարկվում է ոչ միայն մայրաքաղաքում, այլև ՀՀ մարզերում,  արդեն իսկ՝ Բյուրեղավանում, Աշտարակում, Արտաշատում և Նոր Հաճնում։
