Պատմաբան, ակտիվիստ Դավիթ Ֆիդանյանն իր ֆեյսբուքյան էջում գրել է.

«ԱՄՆ Պետքարտուղարության խոսնակ Մեթյու Միլլերը հայտարարել է, որ Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի միջև համաձայնությունի հնարավոր է, սակայն երկու կողմերը պետք է «ծանր փոխզիջումների» գնան։ Հարց է առաջանում, թե ի՞նչ է նշանակում Միլլերի կողմից արտաբերված «ծանր փոխզիջումներ» կապակցությունը։ Արդյո՞ք երկու կողմերին է ուղղված ակնարկը։ Ակնհայտ է, որ ակնարկը հստակորեն ուղղված է հայկական կողմին, որովհետև Ադրբեջանը այս պահին հանդես է գալիս հաղթողի դիրքերից և առնվազն զավեշտալի կլինի պնդել, որ Փաշինյանի ռեժիմի օրոք շարունակական կապիտուլյացիայի փուլում գտնվող Հայաստանի նկատմամբ Ադրբեջանը «ծանր փոխզիջման» կգնա։ Եվ հետևաբար ակնհայտ է, որ «ծանր փոխզիջման», կամ այս պարագայում զիջման գնալու է Հայաստան։ Արդ հարց է առաջանում, ի՞նչպիսի զիջումների մասին է ակնարկում Միլլերը։ Էլ ի՞նչ դեռ պետք է  զիջի,առանց Արցախ մնացած շարունակաբար զիջած, պարտված, ստորացված և արնաքամ լինող Հայաստանը։ Արդյո՞ք խոսքը չի գնում այսպես կոչված «Զանգեզուրյան միջանցք»-ի, կամ ինչպես ամերիկյան պետքարտուղարության Էսթաբլիշմենթում են սկսել այն կոչել «Միջին Միջանցք»-ի, մասին որի գլխավոր լոբբիստը դարձել ԱՄՆ-ն, վերջերս Հայաստան այցելած փոխպետքարտուղար Ջեյմս Օբրայենի գլխավորությամբ»։
