Հուլիսի 29-ին կայանալու է «Հայաստանի հանրային ռադիոընկերություն» փակ բաժնետիրական ընկերության գործադիր տնօրենի թափուր պաշտոնի համալրման համար հայտարարված մրցույթը։ Մրցույթի առաջին փուլը չկայացավ, քանի որ գործող վարչախումբը համապատասխան սրտի թեկնածու չուներ առաջադրած ռադիոյի տնօրենի համար, իսկ արդեն լիազորություններն ավարտած Գարեգին Խումարյանին ամեն գնով փորձում են հեռու պահել ռադիոյի ղեկավարումից։

Ի տարբերություն հանրային հեռուստաընկերության, որը Փաշինյանի օրոք ավելի շատ է դարձել իշխանությունների գրպանի լրատվամիջոցը, ռադիոյում անցած վեց տարին զգալի բարեփոխումներ են կատարվել, ծախսերն օպտիմալացվել են, իսկ ռադիոն հանրային է իրապես։

Ամիսներ առաջ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի վիճահարույց հարցազրույցից հետո Գարեգին Խումարյանը հանդես եկավ քննադատական հոդվածով, որը մեծ աղմուկ բարձրացրեց ոչ միայն մասնագիտական շրջանակներում։ Ռադիոյի աշխատակիցների ահռելի մասն էլ աջակցում են Խումարյանին, ցանկանում, որ նա լինի հանրային ռադիոյի տնօրենը։

Երկրորդ փուլի համար առաջադրված ութ թեկնածուներից մեկն էլ Խումարյանն է։ Թե ո՞վ կդառնա ռադիոյի տնօրեն, դեռ պարզ չէ, բնականաբար Հանրային հեռարձակողի խորհուրդն ամեն ինչ կանի, որ այդ պաշտոնին նշանակի Փաշինյանին հավատարիմ անձի։ Առնվազն երեք թեկնածուներ կարող են համապատասխանել Փաշինյանի պատկերացումներին։

Առաջադրվել է «Օրբելի» կենտրոնի (կառավարության «ֆեյքերի» ՊՈԱԿ-ի ստորաբաժանումներից է) խմբագիր Միքայել Յալանուզյանը, «Ազատություն» ռադիոկայանի լրագրող Արմեն Քոլոյանը, ԱՄՆ-ից էլ հատուկ այդ նպատակով Հայաստան է եկել հայտնի հաղորդավար Հակոբ Ռուբինյանը։ Ըստ ամենայնի, այս երեք թեկնածուներից մեկին էլ խորհուրդը «կընտրի» Հանրային ռադիոյի տնօրեն՝ հաշվի չառնելով հանրության շահերը։
