Հուլիսի 3-ին՝ ժամը 00:45-ի սահմաններում, ՊՆ N զորամասի պահպանության տեղամասում, դեռևս չպարզված հանգամանքներում կյանքի հետ անհամատեղելի հրազենային վնասվածք է ստացել պայմանագրային զինծառայող Սարգիս Արթուրի Խաչատրյանը:

«Տան միջնեկ տղան էր, երեք եղբայր են, մեկ քույր։ Նորմալ ընտանիքի երեխա էր, շատ ուշադիր, աշխարհին ուրիշ գույն տվող, լուսավոր մարդ»,- MediaHub-ի հետ զրույցում ասաց Սոթքի միջնակարգ դպրոցի տնօրեն Արտակ Մելքոնյանը։
Նրա խոսքով՝ Սարգիսը մինչև իններորդ դասարանն է սովորել դպրոցում, ապա քոլեջ գնացել ու զորակոչվել բանակ։
«Եթե չեմ սխալվում, «Պատիվ ունեմ» ծրագրով էր բանակում։ Շատ լավ երեխա էր, շատ լավ։ Ու նրա համար չեմ ասում, որ նման դեպք է եղել։ Հետաքրքրասեր աշակերտ էր, լրիվ այլ աշխարհից։ Ուղղակի մեծ, շատ մեծ ցավ է մեզ համար։ Մեր մարզում էր ծառայում։ Թե ինչ ու ոնց է եղել, չեմ կարող ասել, չգիտեմ։ Տարբեր վարկածներ կան, բայց ճիշտ չեմ համարում դրանց մասին հիմա խոսելը»,- նշեց Մելքոնյանը։
