Հունգարիայի վարչապետ Վիկտոր Օրբանը հայտարարել է, որ խնդրել է Ուկրաինայի նախագահ Վլադիմիր Զելենսկիին ուսումնասիրել հրադադարի հնարավորությունը, հետո անցնել խաղաղության բանակցություններին։ Օրբանի կարծիքով՝ հրադադարի հաստատումը կարող է արագացնել բանակցությունները։ Այս մասին գրում է BBC-ն

«Պատերազմը, որում դուք այժմ ապրում եք, շատ ինտենսիվ ազդեցություն ունի Եվրոպայի անվտանգության վրա։ Մենք բարձր ենք գնահատում խաղաղության հասնելու նախագահ Զելենսկու բոլոր նախաձեռնությունները։ Ես պարոն նախագահին ասացի, որ այս նախաձեռնությունները շատ ժամանակ են պահանջում։ Միջազգային դիվանագիտության կանոնների պատճառով դրանք շատ բարդ են։ Ես խնդրեցի պարոն նախագահին մտածել այն մասին, թե արդյոք հնարավոր կլինի մի փոքր այլ ճանապարհով գնալ, դադարեցնել կրակը և հետո շարունակել բանակցությունները», - ասել է Հունգարիայի վարչապետը մամուլի ասուլիսում:

Զելենսկին նշել է, որ Ուկրաինան բարձր է գնահատում Վիկտոր Օրբանի այցը ԵՄ-ում Հունգարիայի նախագահության ժամանակ։

Վիկտոր Օրբանն ընդգծել է, որ Հունգարիան կցանկանար բարելավել հարաբերությունները Ուկրաինայի հետ՝ չնայած տարաձայնություններին, և կնքել երկկողմ համագործակցության համաձայնագիր։ Բուդապեշտը պատրաստ է օգնել արդիականացնել Ուկրաինայի տնտեսությունը, նշել է վարչապետը։
