Մենք ընդգծել ենք մեր դիրքորոշումը Պաղեստինի հարցի նկատմամբ, մեր սկզբունքային դիրքորոշումը հետեւյալն է, որ մենք չենք ճանաչում մանկասպան սիոնիստական ռեժիմը. մենք ողջունել ենք Հայաստանի որդեգրած դիրքորոշումը՝ Պաղեստինի պետությունը ճանաչելու վերաբերյալ: Այս մասին, այսօր Իրանի դեսպանատանը լրագրողների հետ զրույցում նշեց ԻԻՀ արտակարգ և լիազոր դեսպան Մեհդի Սոբհանին:
«Այս քաջ եւ դրական քայլը, որ կատարվեց ՀՀ-ի կողմից, ցույց է տալիս, որ միջազգային հանրությունը կարեւորում է Պաղեստինի ժողովրդի իրավունքները եւ դեմ է իրավունքների խախտմանը, որ դրսեւորվում է սիոնիստական ռեժիմի կողմից Պաղեստինի ժողովրդի նկատմամբ:
Այն երկրները, որոնք աջակցում են Պաղեստինի ժողովրդին եւ նրա իրավունքները, դրանք պատմության ճիշտ կողմում են գտնվում: Այն հանցագործությունները, որ իրականացվում են սիոնիստական ռեժիմի կողմից, հայտնի են աշխարհում: Ով լռում է դրանց մասին, նա մասնակից է սիոնիստական ռեժիմի կողմից կատարված հանցագործություններին»,-ասաց նա
Հարցին՝ ինչպիսին կլինի Իրանի արձագանքը՝ Ադրբեջանի կողմից Հայաստանի դեմ հնարավոր ագերսիայի դեպքում, Իրանն ինչպիսի գործողությունների կարող է դիմել, դեսպանը պատասխանեց. «Նրանք պետք է սպառնալիքի լեզվով չխոսեն, եթե խոսքը խաղաղության երկխոսության մասին է: Ինչ վերաբերում է Հայաստանի հետ մեր համագործակցության ձեւին, դա կախված է ՀՀ կառավարությունից: Մենք մեր պատրաստակամությունն ենք հայտնել փոխադարձ ընկալումների հիման վրա, այն ինչ կբխի մեր երկու երկրների շահերից, մենք բոլոր ոլորտներում պատրաստ ենք համագործակցել Հայաստանի հետ»:
