«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է.
Ադրբեջանը տարիներ շարունակ, ի թիվս այլ հանցագործությունների, պարբերաբար հարձակումներ է գործում Հայաստանի հանքարդյունաբերության ուղղությամբ՝ նպատակ ունենալով վնասել մեր երկրի տնտեսությանը: Ադրբեջանի կառավարական շրջանակների կողմից վերահսկվող ՀԿ-ների, բնապահպանների, փորձագետների կողմից հատկապես վերջին երկու-երեք տարիների ընթացքում բազմաթիվ կոչեր են հնչել Ամուլսարի հանքի շահագործումը թույլ չտալու, ԶՊՄԿ-ի, Ագարակի կոմբինատի և Արարատի մարզում մետալուրգիական գործարանի կառուցումը դադարեցնելու վերաբերյալ։ Ավելին, կարողացան հասնել նրան, որ Սոթքի բաց հանքի շահագործումը դադարեցվեց, իսկ Երասխում մետալուրգիական գործարանի կառուցումը կասեցվեց եւ տեղափոխվեց այլ վայր։
Եվ ահա, Զանգելանում անցկացվող Ադրբեջանի ոչ կառավարական կազմակերպությունների համագործակցության ֆորումի երկրորդ օրը տեղի է ունեցել «Հայաստանի հանքարդյունաբերության բնապահպանական հետևանքները» թեմայով քննարկում: Ադրբեջանցի բնապահպաններն ու պետական մարմինների ներկայացուցիչները հերթական մանիպուլ յատիվ մեղադրանքներն են հնչեցրել Հայաստանի դեմ՝ ևս մեկ առիթ օգտագործելով՝ հայտարարելու, թե իբր Հայաստանի հանքարդյունաբերությունը լուրջ վնաս է հասցնում շրջակա միջավայրին: Ավելին, ադրբեջանցիները նշել են, որ թեև Հայաստանի բնական ռեսուրսները բավականին փոքր են, սակայն նրա բաժինը տարածաշրջանում շրջակա միջավայրին հասցված վնասի մեջ մեծ է: Ընդ որում, դա ասվել է մի երկրի ներկայացուցչի կողմից, որի հենց միայն նավթարդյունահանումը տարածաշրջանի բնապահպանության համար ահռելի սպառնալիք է:
Ի դեպ, մեր տեղեկություններով, կոշտ ելույթ է ունեցել բնապահպանության և բնական պաշարների նախարարության հասարակական խորհրդի քարտուղար Ամին Մամեդովը, որն, ի դեպ, Ամուլսարի հանքավայրի շահագործման դեմ հանդես եկած հայկական կազմակերպություններին շնորհակալություն հայտնած Environmental Protection First կոալիցիայի նախաձեռնողն է։
