Չինաստանը գործարկել է SVOM աստղադիտակի արբանյակը, որը մշակվել է Ֆրանսիայի հետ համատեղ՝ գամմա ճառագայթների պոռթկումներն ուսումնասիրելու համար, շաբաթ օրը հայտնել է Չինաստանի տիեզերական գիտության և տեխնոլոգիաների կորպորացիան:
«Հրթիռն արձակվել է հունիսի 22-ին՝ ժամը 15.00-ին, որից հետո աստղագիտական արբանյակը հաջողությամբ մտել է նշված ուղեծիր», – ասվում է կորպորացիայի հաղորդագրության մեջ:
Արբանյակը Չինաստանի և Ֆրանսիայի՝ գրեթե 20 տարվա համատեղ աշխատանքի արդյունք է։ Արբանյակի հիմնական խնդիրը ներառում է գամմա-ճառագայթների պոռթկումների որոնումը և տեղայնացումը, դրանց էլեկտրամագնիսական ճառագայթման հատկությունների, մութ էներգիայի և Տիեզերքի էվոլյուցիայի ուսումնասիրությունը և այլն:
